The use of particles is well done, and the feedback from defeating enemies is exhilarating.
When the screen is maximized, the UI does not scale with the resolution, causing the problem to become extremely small.
Unity's UI elements are a bit of a pain to learn, but I think they are quite easy to use and well done. Keep up the good work!
Good start and solid level design. I liked the many possibilities to take cover. For my personal liking, the game feels a little too mindless. Right now, there's no reason to ever not shoot. Considering the name is "Counter Invasion" now, one simple way to make that decision more interesting might be to add civilians to levels that make you lose health when you shoot them. If you want to go more for the mindless shooting experience, I'd prfer an auto-shoot button to manually mashing your mouse.
thanks for the feedback, now that i think about it you have some really good points, maybe instead of auto shoot, just have it so you can hold down mouse, or i could have made an ammo system or that last one about civilians, but i guess i was just in a rush
Nice game. But I think the game would be easier if there was a health pickup you could collect to gain health. Other then that, nice. I would be very happy if you would play my game.
Really nice game. The game looks great and the sfx were really good. It was pretty challenging but I managed to finish it. but there wasn't really a scope for the game so maybe if you would add like a story. Overall a really nice game :)

nice shooting game. the player animation are cool, color palette is cool. nice game.
I like the effort you put on the assets. floors and walls are cool. But it lacks a little consistency overall (to my point of view). the color palette is too wide, elements have different pixel sizes etc.

I like the art of the player and I also think that the music is really good. Also I think the particles are well implemented.
One thing that would improve the game is to make the player be lower down in the camera (right now player is at the center), as it was difficult to see the enemies who were shooting at you. Also the icons for the health were a bit too big and placing them in the top left corner was a bit distracting as it was difficult to see, I would recommend putting them at the bottom, as there are no enemies there.

So it turns out the original name i gave it (PlasmaBurst) is already a game so i changed it to CounterInvasion, is that allowed?, I didnt edit the unity project or any code, just the submissions page
