Overall a great effort. I wasn't able to playtest the Angels section very well as I was testing on a trackpad, and I'm just not quick enough to get far on it without a real mouse. I like that it was essentially more than one game. My only quibble is that we should be able to skip or speed up the text intro, and in the "Dodge the Asteroids" section it was a bit hard to tell what was going to destroy you. Seems like only if you get hit on the tip? Anyway, I think that could be clearer, because it's very hard to defeat without knowing it.

Yes, it's only the tip. I didn't think the art needed to be that large until I thought about it, but then I didn't want to make the section harder than it was before art, so I kept the hitbox size. I already know that section has several issues (which I'll fix after the jam). As for the last section, it's definitely harder to play with a trackpad, which I actually never considered, so thanks for pointing that out! But remember, you can dodge the arrows by moving left and right with the platform, which should make that section possible.

Thanks for your feedback!

Wow great game. Every level feels complete despite the different genres. Graphics are good, the music rocks. And you even have a story line from start to finish. Only the asteroids are a bit annoying. :) Love it.

Thank you!

Fun game! The droid is absolutely massive and pretty slow though. I think that a smaller yet faster drone and perhaps more obstacles would be more fun, as it gives the player more control while maintaining the difficulty. Also, that text at the beginning needs to be skippable. Other than that though, great job! I didn't manage to finish, but the futuristic-y track make the game fairly fun!

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah, that's a huge flaw with this game; the first section is way too hard compared to the ones that follow. Even though the capsule's hitbox is only at the front, where the droid is (which is an issue in itself), it's still difficult even for me, as the developer. I'll probably nerf it after the rating period is over. But thanks for trying my game out!

cool implementation of different styles. the last one seemed much easier than the others though, and it seems a bit unforgiving with having to restart when hit/detected

Nice idea- I liked the different levels, gave it a lot of variety!

I liked this. The multiple types of gameplay keeps you on your toes, and prevents the player from getting bored. I wish there were more checkpoints, though, especially in the first section. Sound effects would also be nice. Keep up the good work!
