nice concept and game idea! love the overall art. it fits together very well. the controls are a bit weird, but its still a 72h game jam.

Developer

yeah grid type movement is weird :)

Submitted(+1)

the concept is great but the moving its hard to control it would be easier if is smooth as the jump. great game btw

Developer

yeah I have gone with grid type movement so it's like that. Thanks for the feedback

Great concept!

Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to get the future cube moving. When i jump in the past nothing ever happens in the future... Could it be a bug?

Developer (1 edit)

hey buddy this is not a bug.

Actually if u move any movement in present and press the FUTURE ACTION the future player will move like that and past player also but in reverse but u have to presss the Past action button at top after each movements or many.

Many glitches are intentionally coded like infinite jump in future and past.

Sorry for the inconvenience could u try again ?

Thanks.

I just played your game, it took me forever to actually figure out how to open the file. Because your build mac with a windows, this cause some kind of error caused me to not be able to try it. Next time I suggest you build a HTML version with unity. This way a lot more people can play your game. And give you feed backs. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/50577473/unity-game-compiled-in-windows-does... this is the I use to figure out how.

My thought on your game is that, it was a bit odd, like first time when I move jump twice I see it move in the future, but other time is just not move. Your idea was neat, if you make it like easier to see what happen in the future right after the player get the red box into the red box goal, and make the same move with the yellow one. Most of the time is just kinda stuck not moving, and the clock spins and the number grows and I don't know what it meant. Yeah, overall the concept is really good, you could polish it a bit more. I really like the concept, I had thought about similar idea for the jam also. But we went for a different direction. At least you made something, and it is finish and done. Well done. And good luck.

I will take ur suggestions on Mac build and what happened n I had made the entire game and unfortunately I deleted my scene which I was working on 8 hrs before the jam. So I had to make it some how so it is glitchy. I ll polish and re-upload in some days and I respect u for this explanation on my game. Love u :D.. i am learning unity for 6 mnths so lack of experience.

Also I had made a webgl build but people are saying it crashes everytime. :(

An interesting game, it took me a good 10 ish minutes to figure out how to play the game at first I though t I had to make all the movements in one go then I realized its better in small movements, I also found it a bit difficult to move by constantly clicking a+d but I suppose that was a key part in the development to keep the future/past inputs consistent. A good game but felt a bit hard to use.

Overall a nice game.

Developer

yes I agree the inputs were tuff.. developed in 24hrs ... So ig thanks and I will check ur game too.
