A very well built game! I likd the difficulty balance. The only thing I had a bit of trouble with was remembering the space bar was jump. Maybe consider adding a secondary jump button? Anyway, great job!
Game is awesome man love the idea of juggling between the 3 cannons.
The art and music are honestly so amazing. The SFX also added alot of feedback which I found nice, and story itself is simple yet intriguing, And the concept was really fun, having to watch your ammo while accounting for the speed / amount of enemies added so much tension. Great game!
This game is just awesome!
I really love the concept cause it really gives me adrenaline when I get to struggle XD
One thing that should be changed in my opinion is that if you're pressing down that you fall trough floors (not that you have to stay on the floor and then click) Hope you know what I mean xD
But the Art, the music, the sound effects are all so awesome! Really, really well done!
Sadly I was too bad to kill the boss, I understood it first in the third run that I needed to shoot ON the airship and not only defend me :(
But it was a really, really nice experience!
Also feel free to check out my game as well :)
Yep, I get you, most of the complaints are about the controls, I`ll probably tweak them later based on the feedback we received, but yeah the boss is pretty difficulty!
Also your concept is super cool, and it really feels like a complete game, I just couldn't get past the level where you have to ricochet the bullet on yourself, but that's just me sucking :P
Thanks a lot for trying tho! :D
EDIT: would love to try your game again with the control tweaks :D
The music is awesome! Also liked the art, however is a little tricky to play. Are so muuch buttons.
Your game is extremely polished and the art style is stunning. Really dig the music as well. Overall it's and excellent submission. Great work!
Beautiful. Charming intro with a great transition. I appreciated the concept how you had to manage what you were carrying to see which gun you can shoot. Added a lot of depth to the strategy.
My only suggestion for improvement is the control scheme. I instinctively used the arrow keys, which only work sideways and my brain did not want to compute the space bar as a means to reach the higher level and 's' to get back down again ^^
Cosmetics on an otherwise stellar entry! Really good job, you guys more than deserve a beer now!
Yep, controls could use some work, we kinda just completely forgot about alternative keys and making W also jump. Also, thanks for the kind compliments! Your game has a very creative concept, atmospheric music and graphics to match, be proud of it!
I can't drink a beer yet, but I'll cheer to that!
Cool!
Very fun game to play! I really like the art and sound effect, one of the most polished game of the jam! Great job!
Nice visuals!
Good gameplay!
Too bad it is so short(
I enjoyed the game
nice game
Great art
I enjoyed it! Great art and quick gameplay that could be made into multiple levels! Reminded me of "No heroes here" a little bit. My only comment is that I would want to have a separate button for firing, so you can fire even if you are carrying more cannons. Maybe load with O and shoot with P, for two-handed play?
Thank you for the compliments and suggestions! It's a weird thing! Some people enjoy that you can't fire without loading your ammo first, and it does adds some depth to the strategy, but it can be frustrating, I'll test it out! And hot damn, can't believe you made your game in 8 hours
Nice concept and game fun to play!
