Hey! I'm a bit of a generalist who can gladly fulfill the programmer role. I got a lot of experience with Unity and FL Studio, moderate experience with Blender, Aseprite, Photoshop, and I know my way around FMOD, Premiere, Illustrator, Substance Painter & Designer, and Marvelous Designer.  So I can do both 2D and 3D workflows, and I can also provide music and sound design if need be. I can send some examples if you shoot me a message on Discord.

I've got a couple of game jams under my belt, all of them with teams, but it's been some time since my last one... Since then, I've been struggling to stick to and actually finish my own projects so I thought I'd jump back into doing jams to practice going from concept to finished game, so I really resonate with your goal.

My discord is Koba#3281 I'm in Brazil so pretty far hahaha, but I have coincidentally worked with a guy from Sweden before and it was my best jam, so I'm hoping that doesn't stop us.

Thank you for the compliments and suggestions! It's a weird thing! Some people enjoy that you can't fire without loading your ammo first, and it does adds some depth to the strategy, but it can be frustrating, I'll test it out! And hot damn, can't believe you made your game in 8 hours

Yep, controls could use some work, we kinda just completely forgot about alternative keys and making W also jump. Also, thanks for the kind compliments! Your game has a very creative concept, atmospheric music and graphics to match, be proud of it!

I can't drink a beer yet, but I'll cheer to that!

Yep, I get you, most of the complaints are about the controls, I`ll probably tweak them later based on the feedback we received, but yeah the boss is pretty difficulty!

Also your concept is super cool, and it really feels like a complete game, I just couldn't get past the level where you have to ricochet the bullet on yourself, but that's just me sucking :P

Ah, makes sense!

A solid game! It has nice AI, 3D models, and mechanics, just lacking in the sounds department!

It's one awesome retro game from the gameplay to the graphics! Only thing I don't understand is why not use WASD for the player 2 controls?

Dang, almost beat that challenge! This game got me playing for some time! It finds its strengths in its simplicity, yet also its weaknesses, since the game could use a one feature or two to fight the doughnuts, but hell in 24 hours, that's pretty good!

NOOOOO!

Really nice implementation of the voice over! The game gave me really retro vibes, especially of Golden Axe III, which I love. And the mood was perfectly set on the dialogue between the queen bee and Beetholomew . Gotta say, was not expecting a Terraria queen bee boss fight, which was the cherry on top.  My only complaint is the tutorial music, it gets annoying rather quickly. Oh and you can collect the flowers during the tutorial part, which can be an easter egg or just a bug ;) either way  I had fun!

Dark Souls meets Celeste, seriously fun concept, and a well executed one at that! Though sometimes I swear I could see the Bonfire lit splash screen every time I got to a checkpoint...

I got you man, download is now available.
