Great concept and nice use of the limitation! Funny company names lol

Really cool concept! Feel like with a bit more hierarchy with the text / info presented when playing and some icons it would allow the player to be able to make decisions easier and know what's going on better... Look into "hierarchy design" if your interested in learning about it..  The typography choice for the main menu is pretty neat tho! Its a really cool use of the limitation as well

Thanks for playing! I'll do a bit of research into/about that design, thanks!

I absolutely loved the fake names for the companies. Made me chuckle 😂

Nice little game but I didn't feel much in control of what was happening. I have read the comments here about not being able to skip offers and I will be honest I didn't know I could do that.

Style of the game definitely hit the wall street cyber vibe 😊

I'm not cut out to be a trader. I'd better stick to game dev :)

But the game is interesting, I liked it. I almost felt smart when I bought Amazon stock after two days of decline, and on the third day, they skyrocketed. An intriguing concept. I enjoyed playing it!

I'm ready for the real stock market now. One button to skip a offer would be nice!

Developer

Thanks for playing! There sort of is, if the ticket can't be accepted because of insufficient cash or owned stock it'll be skipping with spacebar only offers you can accept you have to wait for, it's a fairly poor design looking back

Pretty impressive to make a stock market simulation in pygame. Personally day-trading is a nightmare so maybe not the game for me, but I can see there's a fair bit of depth and thought in the system behind it. The sound is also pretty good and polished.

Almost as addictive as the real thing! The one button controls are a good implementation of the limitation but it would be nice to have a bit more control and less waiting around. I loved the stock names and the little headlines and colouring the text made the information feel much less overwhelming, great job!

Thanks for playing! Yeah I agree in hindsight I don't think the get 5 offers go to next day was the best implementation especially since you tend to go long stretches waiting when RNG runs poorly
