I absolutely love how the game looks. Controls were fine to me, and it was a fun experience to go through. Well done
I like it a lot. I personally don't have a problem with the controls. I got a score around 1250 something.
Huge fan of the art design, and the audio is wonderful too! I am terrible at physics based platformers though, so I don't think I'm beating this one. Great job though!
Cool game!! Loved the graphics especially the running animation :D I never had to use fire, which is too bad. Also controlling the characters during wall jumps and doing a double jump is a bit difficult, I think stopping the player’s velocity when double jump is pressed would help, and double jumping as soon as it’s pressed, would make it more responsive.
Overall great job, it was fun! <3
Fun game! Really enjoyed the overall presentation and crisp movement. Some of the platforming could be a little more forgiving but I particularly liked getting into the flow of the wall jumps, very nice. Took a few tries but made it to the top with a score of 826! Nice one!
super nice game!! the gameplay and the movement are so smooth!! the art is also really pretty!!
Nice platformer! some great moments and the movement feels nice and snappy, which is a big plus! However, I found that the game could feel a bit slippery at times. Generally, it's better to err on the side of higher friction to give players more control over their character.
The auto-wall jump was especially tricky to manage as it felt too fast and hard to control. It might be beneficial to tweak this mechanic for smoother gameplay. Also, I'd recommend changing the double jump from "On Release" to "On Press" for a more so it'd be more responsive. With the rising water mechanic, it felt odd having sections where I had to move downward. I felt like I reached a dead end in my playthrough where I could no longer go up.
I did encounter a critical bug when restarting once as shown in the start of my video—the level failed to generate properly.
Overall though, you've got a solid foundation with these player mechanics; just needs a few key refinements to really shine!
Nice game overall, I love the concept and the shop idea, even if for some reason it didn’t let me buy the second item even if I had the needed coins..
It doesn’t seem really challenging.
I love the wall jump idea.
My high score is 707
