You're a miner and have heard about a cave that's said to contain a fortune of rare minerals. But you only have one chance since the cave is about to collapse.

No cookies for either of us. CubB | SQ had quite a few cough drops. I ate a cinnamon bun, quite tasty.

Great game all around, I only wish there was a leaderboard to see how much treasure other people made it out with!

I can vibe with this! Would you have any interest in joining our game jam? Cash Prizes and the opportunity for grants! 2023 Aviator Arcade Game Jam - itch.io

Best game I played in this jam. Solid presentation, cute vibe, clear goals, good tutorial. I sucked at it, though. haha. Still a fun game. And the implementation of a minimap was impressive. Awesome stuff!

Loved the controls in this! Would love to see more of this game!

This is a great product. Really nice, it look good, it sounds good, it feels good. Had a lot of fun, although I got only a final score of 3100 with successfull leaving the cave.

I observed some little aspects, if you allow me to share them with you.

First: It is sad, that I can not swing while I'm in the air. That takes away some interesting possibilities for gameplay. Second: When I lose, the Restart Button doesn't work for me. It only does, when I successfully leave the cave. Third: I loved the first minute of the soundtrack. But the second minute, where the synth comes in, was heavily unexpected and partially broke the game feel for me. I would recommend to try out Mallet Instruments, as they sound a bit like shiny gems look like. Using them in combination with a slightly tempo up over the course of the second minute could also have a nice effect.

But these are only meant as cherry on top suggestions because the game that I just played was really awesome and packed with super stable mechanics and a lot of fun to play.

Great way to introduce intensity, and fun controls! Must be a joy with a controller. Fun taunt at the end. The play again button didn't work though. GG

So fun to control! Always go to greedy and couldnt get back to the surface in time though,

Very good game! The idea is great! I especially liked the graphics!

As for me, the theme of fortune is not used much.

But it turned out to be a great game! Congratulations!

Pickaxe jumps are very fun and skill based + the artstyle's simple but  charming. Played until I got 5000 points!

Pretty fun! Had a blast doing the pickaxe-jumps. Got a bit lost and almost didn't get out in time but actually did at the last second with 4300 points :D

Not me skipping the tutorial and not knowing I'm supposed to try and get out :')
Really liked the game, I loved doing a pickaxe pogo stick to get around most the time; and I'm not sure about the music. It cut in and out for me; but it sounded like it was on its way to a nice bass drop.

love the pickaxe mechanic! A great idea for expanding  more platformer-related mechanics

Great work! love it, the "Play Again" button doesnt seem to work though.

yoo my man, I love this mechanic, I would like more locations where you can use this incredibly cool parkour. also I really liked the deep inspiring inscription at the end if you don’t have time to climb the rope!
