Nice game. My only caveat is that speeding up feels mostly useless. You have to work extra and doesn't provide an advantage, just distraction.
Why would you speed up if it increases your chances of failing?
when you speed up , it increases the points u collect and multiplier.
If your speed is less then 10 multiplier is 1x.
So each coin is worth 10. (Multiplier increases by 1 per 10 speed)
If your at let's say speed 50, the multiplier will be 5x
So each coin will then be worth speed x multiplier (50 x 5 = 250)
ohh!, it was really hard to tell. I thought I would just keep it slow and don't die
Addictive.
It was a good idea. There was unfair points where you could not avoid a crash but with a bit more time I'm sure you could work that out. over all great work!
This game is AMAZING!!! Great Presentation and the gameplay mechanic is really well made! Great Job!
I really enjoyed this game, but I didn't like the shifting mechanism, it's fun, but it feels really bad when you are too busy avoiding cars and you miss the timing and then you have to wait 30 seconds to shift again. Maybe would be better if it was just like hot reloading in enter the gungeon, and instead of the hard 5 lives, you die if you are too slow or something.. Btw my record was 25540
I like that this has a pretty unique gameplay mechanic, but I feel that it could have had more urgency to timing the shifting and the traffic at some points forms a wall so you can't avoid a crash. I also didn't like that the lane changes were immediate, but I get that this was the point. Though I think the lane shifting could have had smooth animation and still achieve the same effect.
Hey there! The concept isn't bad, i could imagine this as a mobile game if it was more unique! The graphics need improvement though, did you make them yourself or are these from the asset store? Find a really unique mechanic and only focus on that, maybe make a game that's only about the timing and not about controlling the car with arrow keys, and i think it will suceed then!
I hope the feedback helped you a bit, and it would be nice if you could check out our submission too, thank you! :)
