I really like how you used the limitation! The gameplay does get a bit boring after a while beacuse there is not much to do! But, a fun game non the less

Damn, some plane carrying potions must've exploded over this island ;)

Really nice work w/ the world generation. There's even different biomes!

Fun game, I probably would've played even longer if there was some kind of timer or point system tracking my progress.

Cool generation for the time scale of the jam, really nicely done and would love to see where you can take it in the future. As other people have said, gameplay could use work but you have time for that now!

Cool random generation but bad gameplay and graphics.

Also its a bit boring to just run around, maybe give the player the ability to chop trees and craft tools and weapons

Really Fun!

Love the use of perlin noise,  a great idea for this limitation.

I did find the gameplay to be not as fleshed out as it could have been. Although the random generation is epic, more attention to the core attacking gameplay may have made the game more rounded.

Overall, A really successful & enjoyable submission!

These sound effects are funny lol

This is really fun and the level generation is impressive. It feels like there's an attack cool-down but there's no visual indication of that which would be helpful. Feels like this game could go places if you built upon it

Developer

Thanks for playing the game!

The Idea was to have a cool down that would trigger an attack as you where walking around to be a bit more skilful with how you approach enemies but sadly we never got to that point and have to quickly change how we wanted to do things due to time and squashing bugs.

Love the use of Perlin noise world generation, would have enjoyed like mentioned elsewhere a small island and build up as you play. There audio for attacking was a little too much for me after a short period of playing, I simply turned the audio down a little and continued playing.

The sprites looked nice and the controls felt good albeit the attacking was odd and doesn't seem to work when standing still, I found myself having to move into the enemy whilst attacking to control the direction, not a huge issue, just needed to learn and practice the attacking/movement together.

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! The audio was thrown in last minute so my apologies if it destroyed your eardrums. The attacking while moving was intentional. If we had more time I would love to replace the square with an actual sword or something.

Good level generation with a fun gameplay loop.

Thanks for playing!

Really good one. Concept is interesting, I think it would be better if map was smaller and enemies faster. it would make game harder and gamplay faster.

Developer

We'll have to test that out. Fortunately, we can alter the parameters to create a smaller map. Thanks for playing!
