Cool game, I would of really liked if I could keep moving while "You" were talking, I feel it would of made the gameplay much smoother.

I managed to beat this game, it's actually not very difficult if you remember their names and don't walk in the middle, the camera zooming out at the end was very cool! Great job!

Developer

Thanks for putting the time in! I'm glad you liked the camera effect it was honestly a last-second thing I added glad you like it.

I really enjoyed this. The gameplay is fairly simple, but the difficulty scales gradually, and the cutscenes mixed in with the gameplay keep things interesting as the story unfolds. I appreciate the little touches, such as how every spirit looks different.

The music is otherworldly and haunting, so just right for the theme, but the loop is too short; it begins to sound repetitive quite quickly.

The angry spirits that try to stop you did not immediately read as hostile for me. It was a while before I realize that oh, that's the reason the spirits are returning to the well.

I also got the impression that diagonal movement was faster than movement along the X or Y axis... it might be my imagination, or you may need to normalize the vector. :)

Lastly, the text in the cutscenes overlaps with the names over the graves. I think the black band at the top of the screen should hide the grave names.

Thanks for the feedback! I will for sure be updating the game and make sure to fix those issues. The speed was calculated with the value being on or off.  Sorry about the sound I originally had a "heavier" song, but it felt crowded and unfit for the game. I may remake it to make it less repetitive.  Thank you for playing the game I am glad you enjoyed it!

Original and interesting but rather long. That is, after receiving a jerk, no one hit me, you can make it so that when you perform a certain number of times, some new enemies appear and the situation becomes more complicated.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback I know the game is straightforward and after the ghosts start attacking the game doesn't have much more gameplay. I may add more complicated gameplay that shows up later. Glad you liked the idea I thought it was really cool but I struggled to make it fit the Jam limit so I think my score will suffer from that.

Artwork is so cool and spooky!

Developer

Thanks, I thought a graveyard and ghost guy would fit the darkness theme!
