This must be the perfect jam game, not asking for a commitment. I enjoyed, didnt stress too much and completed.
Hah what a fun little game!
Art was amazing tbh I loved the little splashes etc - only thing that confused me for a while where the pipes (I thought they were bombs! :D)
Game play was fun good job on submitting!
Really fun game, I hope for more levels soon! I did notice that when you jump, your head goes into the ceiling. Amazing game, great job!
Yay, played through the whole thing! It actually feels rather polished, from the graphics to the gameplay.
I did find myself abusing the enemies by getting hurt so that I fly further and essentially avoid the enemy. Since health seems to regenerate, it didn't seem like a big problem to do that.
The flies never really got me, so maybe they need better placement in the levels. For example, they could be planted inbetween crocodiles so you gotta hop over them but avoid the fly, something like that. Or increase their speed, quantity or range.. I'm not sure. I just didn't feel like the fly enemies posed any real threat. Maybe the same can be said for the shooting blobs.
There's not really anything that feels unfinished though. It's just a good little game.
Thanks for playing! In my personal speedruns of the game I also used that "feature" to propel myself foward faster, maybe the number of hits to respawn the player should have been lowered. The flying enemy was either too powerful or too weak so I went with the latter since I was a little crunched for time but more balancing would definitely happen if an update was to come out. Glad it was a good experience!
This was a really cool small game! Everything seemed balanced. I really liked the damage effect. However, in terms of being consistent with the rest of your game visually, it sticks out to me as being out of place. Didn't encounter any bugs as well!
Nice job and congrats on submitting!
Thanks! I mayyyyy have not had much time to balance so it's good to hear that the game isn't completely broken. Also in retrospect changing the transparency of the damage overlay doesn't really match the game, thanks for the pointer. Congratulations on submitting as well!
Well done and well done. I've never had this much plumbing fun since the early mario games.
The music, amazing, the very simple pixel art style, also amazing. The game was also short and to the point, I also love how you incorporated the "call of duty" like health bar, the gameplay felt a lot more fun that way.
Also, I would like to point something out. It's not an issue but, when you get the ability to fix the pipes, it turns out that you can fix it without being very close to it. Which feels a bit weird.
Nevertheless, great game, hope to see more levels in the future. ^^
That's very kind of you to say, thank you so much! All of the ranges for how close you need to be could be adjusted for sure, I'll admit it was quite rushed as a lot of that and the level design was done in the last two days. Glad to hear you like the music, my brother made it so I'll pass along the compliment :)
Great short game!,I love the death animation in sewer and coming back to life, and visual effect when hit, that was really surprising effect.
Thank you! I'm glad even the little details are noticeable.
reminds me of an old school Atari game, maybe if pitfall was a metroidvania, short but very sweet
The fact that I could remind you of a classic makes me happy :) Thanks for playing!
Are all sewers this dangerous?! God, plumbers need a raise.
Really fun little game, I loved it
Let's petition for a global plumber salary increase, we'll use the game as evidence.
Thanks so much!
