Dusted off my VR headset and tried this out.

The mech is really cool, climbing works well and it's a great feeling sitting up high in that cockpit.

I did have a few issues such as falling out through the front window and that my head clipped through the top of the mech if I was standing up.

Hopefully you keep working on this as we need more cool VR games.

Fun! Mechs look just great in VR, the sense of scale is really cool. The design of the mech is great and the idea of climing around on it and doing repairs is honestly more fun than driving it. I could easily see a mech repair VR simulator in the future.

The physical nature of the controls is mostly great. I had a lot of fun pushing buttons and turning dials,  but occasionally glitched out, fell off, etc. Classic VR. Driving the mech, especially turning, was a bit nauseating though. If you wanted to improve that aspect of the game you could explore using the climbing mechanic (dagging with hands) as a way to move the mech too, since that's a much more forgiving way of moving.

All in all a very cool submission to the jam! I had fun!

Thanks for playing! Also thanks for bringing up the intensity, I forgot to put my disclaimer on the game that it's a "Intense" level vr experience. Moving around in a VR mech up and down terrain is never not going to be nauseating, but I'm glad I didn't implement any vertical bounce with footsteps, that would have made it much worse.

I don't have a headset so I can't give it proper feedback but from what I can tell from the video ya'll have a great concept!
