Very atmospheric game with a nice message behind it. Not my type of game so I personally didn't enjoy it as much as others would but I was entranced in the audio, you did a very good job at setting a mood.

Thank you for the C&C. Joining was a bit of a last-minute decision as well as my first jam, so there could have been a bit more in it. But this was a good experience and I definitely had fun making my own SFX. Thank you for hosting =)

It was really great, I really liked the drawings and the message of the story.

Developer

Thank you very much for the nice words! =D

Woah, the message you show is powerful! The sounds and art design really captures the atmosphere. Although, as Hunty may have mentioned, it would be icing on the cake if the player/viewer was given a option to either keep pushing forward or be stuck because then the message will have a much bigger impact. Since people's curiosity will make them push forward and see the beauty of not being stuck in their dark times. Overall I really enjoyed the approach you was aiming for and I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us!

Developer

Thanks for the c&c! Definitely true, maybe I'll go back and add in a little something extra after the judging is done for anyone who stumbles across the page later =3 And thank you for the compliments on the sound design! It's the first time I've really made my own sound FX and I really enjoyed it!

Oh man, I've got so many ideas I think I need 6 extra arms and one extra head X3

Thanks again! =D

oiiii it's really not about the size of the game. this was really beautiful and well written. i'm really not a vn kinda guy but you are such a great writer that i was really enjoying this more than a lot of "proper" games. fantastic job, followed and i cant wait to see what you come up with next

Developer(+1)

Omg, you're so very nice! Thank you! =D For the compliment and the follow =^^=

Like I always say, "It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it." XD

Thanks again =D

Strong message you conveyed! Wish there was a bit more than just click through & it went towards maybe choice making route. But nice work on what you did!

Developer

Thanks for your c&c! True, I probably could've maybe added a choice near the end where you could see what happened if you don't go into the light. Unfortunately, it's my first jam and I didn't want to do too much and risk missing out. I had a lot of fun with it, though =) Thanks again!

A lovely visual novel with a very uplifting and important message. Its very short, and there's not much "game" to it, but I understand that it's not supposed to. Well done, and keep it up! Continue being the light.

Developer

Thank you for your message! Yes, I'm not used to creating for jams, so I tried to focus just on the story for this one. I actually wanted to do it in 3D at first, but since that's not my wheelhouse, I wouldn't have been able to create it and follow the "all assets created by you" rule. Maybe I'll redo it in this neat program I found in the future. Thanks again for your kind words! =D
