I love the concept a lot. A petri dish as a whole little world is a cool idea.
cute artstyle and concept! reminds me of the "Starcraft cartooned" characters.
found the difficulty to ramp up a bit too fast, but nothing dying a bunch of times didnt seem to help with ;-)

very cute game and characters, question for the Artist what did you use to make the art and animations ?
I personally used Clip Studio Paint EX, as for Lyla I cant say as I dont know.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, as I don't get notifications for this game. I'm the lead artist (Pete design and animations, logo, main menu, UI and events)
I used Fire Alpaca for all of my art and animations! It's not the best for animations, as it doesn't do vector art, so the quality suffers a bit, if you transform too much. But it's free and really user friendly, so it's a really good starting point, or even a continuing point if you can't buy a fancier program and don't want to pirate.

I like this game! The use of limitation is somewhat loose, but the gameplay is fun and the visuals and sounds are great!
I actually attempted to program a plugin that would allow me to have literal extra applications for each UI element, but I couldn't get it working within the deadline sadly. Thank you for the feedback though!
