Absolutely loved this! Crafting a token to determine directional damage and to allow players to strategize about formations and whether or not to gamble on an attack is so tense and inspired! The creatures attack being lined up with a piece of string is so wonderfully simple and clever. The writing was wonderful and atmospheric. The only criticism I have is that it is too damn hard lol but that didn't stop my enjoyment. Excellent work!

When I showed my friends this game they thought it looked awesome (they were right). We spun an arrow to decide which direction the monsters would attack from. It was quick, random and simple. I don't know if it was because of the arrow, but this game kicked our butts. It was a lot of fun and super exciting. we are playing again next week. :)

I really like the spinning arrow idea for where the monster comes from. And I'm glad you're having fun with it!

I really love the idea of campaign play with this. Very evocative. The harmony between the mechanics and fiction is stellar.

Little complex for my blood, but that's a personal preference rather than a sleight at the creator. It's a beautiful Souls like blend of horror and medieval combat, and I can see how necessary it is to have a VERY well coordinated team to have any hope of survival. Beautifully crafted!

So many smart choices here. The equipment variations provide such a quick and easy way to customize a character without doing a sheet, and the string symbolizing a charging attack out of the darkness is simple and effective. Definitely gets across a feeling of being in like a From Software adventure, in the dark trying fight a boss creature.
