That character animation is gorgeous! Really well done!

Thank you very much! :D

Nice work! It took me a few tries to figure out a route that wouldn’t lock me in, but I eventually made it out of the hole. It felt good to plan my route around the falling gravel in the second screen, that was a cool moment. I also appreciated the music changes between going underground and going back up. Good job!

Glad you liked it! Sadly I couldn't dive deeper into level-design, because I was running out of time. My original idea was that the player would have to switch between surface and underground multiple times and even connect them gameplay wise, so if you would do something down there it would effect the surface and vice versa. (Like digging into a pond from below and having the water come down.) It also was supposed to be less linear. But I'm planning to continue development, so you can check back on the game page later on, if you're interested.

The game is really cute.

Took me some time figuring out the controls. Might've been easier on a controller.

Nice graphics!

Thank you~ ^^

Controls can be seen on the game page. I recommend using a gamepad and preferably the RightTrigger for digging.

I really like the animations on the mole character!

Thanx! :D

Somehow the game was very blurry when I tried to build it with being able to scale up the screensize. So now it's just in tiny 64x64 size.. Dunno if anyone can even play the game like that. ^^'

Also I had to leave out most of the game, because of the deadline. :P Might come back to it later on.

I now added a scaled up version. Don't know if that breaks any rules doing that afterwards, but I haven't changed the game itself, so it should be ok, I guess. It's the first game I've (fully) published, my very first game-jam and also the first time dealing with restricted resolution in unity, so please have mercy.. ^^' Didn't think it would be that hard, since in-editor everything worked perfectly fine, with the custom resolution. Only when building it made problems...

When I open the game in Chrome the frame is relatively nicely sized but the game itself is literally 64x64 (not stretched) making it hard to see anything. Perhaps something with Unity WebGL export settings?

Honestly I don't know. Haven't ever built a game as tiny, so resolution was never a problem before. And I was very late with the deadline, so I didn't have much time to search for answers.

You can use the Zoom of the browser, it will mess up some UI-elements though.

I resized the canvas to 256x256 using the Chrome Web Inspector and it was playable. I got stuck few minutes later because I blocked my path with some falling gravel. I like the idea though. Nice visuals and I'm a sucker for puzzle games.

Maybe I should mention that there's a rewind-button in the pause menu.
