The combat is so good, and with lock on mechanics! That last boss was brutal ^^ would have happily kept playing if it was longer, really fun game! :)
I like the target locking, found it incredibly useful. Also cool adding a cross every time you died. They were littered all across the map during the final boss. Found him incredibly frustrating with just a very narrow window to attack if at all. A good entry with a need of a slight balancing near the end.
Minimalistic, but interesting game!
Great game, i love the respawn mechanic dosent dosent send you all the way back but you do need to go a couple of rooms back, the boss is unfair tho.
I like it! The combination of the three actions is good and adds some good options in terms of gameplay style. Good looks, good sounds, good stuff!
plays well, the roll feels very good and adds a lot to the combat mechanics. Good variety of enemies, but I would have loved a bit more of variety in rooms and not just a linear sequence of “wide corridors”. Still quite fun to play. Nice job!
Cool game. Nice variety of enemies. Feels good to move and kill baddies. I got to a boss that shoots fireballs and charges pretty quick, tried a few times but couldn't beat em. Didn't feel great that his moves seemed so fast with no telegraph or indication an incoming attack.
Great job overall!
This one seems like I need to spend some time with it and work on getting better. Very intuitive, but boy were some bits difficult. Great work
Visuals were nice and I really liked the music.
Couldn't beat the boos though, hitboxes and how the boss behaves meant I couldn't get close enough for a just regular attack without running into the boss or getting hit with a fireball.
Otherwise, solid game
I made it till the red boss but I unfortunately found him quite unbeatable since there was very little indication for whether he'd do a charge attack, or if he'd shoot at me. Apart from that though, the sprites were good and it's cool that there was a nice variety of enemy types. Great work
I don't think I've ever seen a pico-8 or similar game use a targeting system like this. I really liked the way it was implemented; it felt very intuitive and comfortable.
Nice little game! Keep up the good work!
