Did you work in a team?
I worked on the majority of it, Oroshibu worked on the music

Was the resolution a challenge?
Fitting text in the UI was hard, but overall the resolution was a fun challenge.

What did you learn?
Worked on procedular generation a bunch, as well as faking movement

I feel visually the polish is definitely there, a bit confused of the gameplay, not sure what causes the enemies to join your team. I also wish you were able to view stats of the new enemy when your team is full. I also found the music to be very low compared to the sound effects but overall very bold to make a game of this genre and with a little more messaging could make it easier to get into.

Yeah, the lack of guidance to the player is definitely an issue. The 64x64 limit made it pretty tough to squeeze stats in, if i were to expand the game I'd definitely do that though. I didn't really know how the genre would work if i gotta be honest, but a jam is a great place to experiment with stuff like this imo

Please make a web version D:

This game looks and feels fantastic, but gameplay wise it was a little confusing or lacking. I feel a tutorial, and more options for the player to affect whats happening, would've helped! At the moment it mostly feels like a glorified dice roll. That being said, the random generation and general visuals were all incredible :)

Yeah, I know the gameplay is a bit lacking. It started out as an experiment with procedural generation and mostly stayed that way, so there is little to no interaction with the gameworld. Really happy you like the look of it though!

In that regard then, I'd consider it a success!

Thanks for the notice, I fixed that, happened because of a last minute change i didn't exactly playtest. Should be fine now :)
