I love the cute and colourful graphics! The “S” key didn’t seem to work for me, but I still was able to play the game with the arrow keys. One suggestion I have is to maybe add a dash mechanic so you can more forcefully push your opponent. Keep up the good work!

Did you work in a team?
No, just me.
I did everything except the fonts.
It was an awesome experience.
Was the resolution a challenge?
When I started my project, I wasn't paying enough attention to the resolution constrain, and how it would interact with the game.
The hardest part was to figure out how to make the camera and player movement smooth, it's far from perfect, but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
What did you learn?
I have never made a game with a true low resolution, so the challenge itself was enough for me to want to join.
This experience made me realize how I need to really focus on my game design choices and to better layout information.
I'm really happy with the experience and how my game turned out, it makes me want to keep trying to develop lower resolution games, and even learn a new tool (Pico-8 I'm looking at you :D )
