I sat for a while trying to figure this one out, and there's quite a bit to this.

I did have to scroll up and down a fair bit to figure out what did what, but then at 64x64 there's not a huge amount of space to try and explain within the game itself!

My main annoyance was I think that the cursors should rotate the robot first, and then move in that direction if it's facing it. I kept having to backtrack a bit as I pressed left to "turn left" and ended up "turning left and moving one left"

I managed to get some factories working but I didn't manage to get the door open.. think I'll come back to it later and have another go when I've a bit more time to sit and think!

Hey thanks for the review !
Happy that you manage to make work some stuff ! =3
I still think in addition with the game page explanation a small tutorial would have been nice.
Like at least, show how to put two basics factories working together.

For the robot rotation, I was hesitating !
Like I knew if I did it that way some would be annoyed and same if I did it the other way =S
But I get your point, since I was hesitating, I just made a choice ^^'

Tell me when you try it later if you manage to win the game =D

That was quite overwhelming :-p

Good job fitting all that complexity in the Pico 8 limits

Honestly, I don't understand what I need to do here. I can move my little robot around, and I worked out that I can pick up the little collections of 3 rocks (?), and when I put that collection back down again it seems to have turned into a red block with an exclamation mark on it. But I don't understand what's going on. This feels like it could be a really quite nice puzzle game, but the initial hurdle to get into it is too high. A set of tutorial levels which introduce the concepts would be really, really useful here. And this has, I admit, suffered because it's part of a game and I have nearly 100 games to review, for which I apologise. If this gets some tutorials, and once I'm in a little less of a rush, I'd be happy to play this again and see how it feels!

Thanks for your review !
The absence of some kind of tutorial make the game pretty hard to take in hand.
Sadly the engine limits me in tokens numbers so that I cannot really make a tutorial.
This is why I tried to explain a lots on things on the game page, but I can get that you don't have time to read them ^^
When you'll have more time try to read the description, it will help you for sure.

It was made with Pico 8 right? I believe you still have some kilobytes left to write code, if so, you could create a simple blank screen with some basic tutorial, I was gonna tell you to put everything that you have on the game's page, but I it's too much information. Since I'm here I'll rate this game on this comment. Considering just the information on game's page, you can tell that is game with good content, I played a bit and I shall play it a bit more in a near future, well done. (Consider what I said about the tutorial, because most people forgets about the info on the page)

PS: If you have the time, please try out my entry https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam-2018/rate/293637 (don't forget to rate it : ) )

Cheers
