very hard but fun. loved the art style and colour pallet :)

Very hard game but fun! :)

I think it's a bad idea that player could go back. You cannot see it but you can shoot and see the bullet  a few seconds after.

Thank you!

Yes, Going backward out of the screen is one of many bugs I wanted to fix but didn't have the time! When the games have been judged I'll be fixing them.

Thanks for playing!

Anyway, good job!

Hey I agree, everything is very cohesive! This could be something really neat with just a few hours. A good entry!

Love the art style. satisfying shooting . wish there was an enemy counter or powerups. Sound would be cool too :)

Developer

Thank you!

There is one power up but it's a bit further into the stage. Everything you mentioned I would have loved to have added, but, I ran out of time. I'll be updating the game when the jam is finished

We do not die when the bullets sent by the opponent hit the sides of our character. I think our character should die if he is not in the camera during the camera movement. The drawings of the game are very compatible with each other and the game is very entertaining.

The player is suppose to die when a bullet hits the core on the centre of the sprite. I tried to make it like a bullet hell game in that sense. Yes, I absolutely agree with the player dying when outside the screen, alas, I ran out of time and energy!

Thank you for the kind words and critique!

It has potential! I'm on a divided opinion on this one: the shots do provide some challenge. but the scrolling of the background feels somewhat slow.

Developer(+1)

While the camera is slow, the action on screen, I felt, was pretty fast. I thought it might be a bit too hectic if you were flying through the level at top speed.

Thanks for the comments!
