Okay this is quite an acomplishment for this short of time. There is lot going on, this are few things that pop up to me while playing. 

LIKE:

  • Assets, I am not sure how much of stuff you made and how much are free assets you used, but the level is filled with stuff, and some of the assets are extremly high quality.
  • UI and Icons are very well made and perfectly describe, what is going on.
  • Love the sound of foremen giving orders.
  • Music that fits the theme.
  • I like how they go play table tenis, when morale is low, and animation after they have to go back to work.

Gameplay wise it could be really good, if it was better balanced. Right know it felt kind of frustrating becouse:

  • Worker stats changed too fast, to the point I thought everyone need everything all the time.
  • Imidietly after going on lunch break or other actions, stats started falling, which was indicated by down icon showing at the same time with up icon. There should be at least little of satisfied time.
  • First two points basicly caused that instead of 3 workers you had one. I am not even sure if you can give one worker alone command, instead of morale buff.
  • All of that basicly turn the experience into pure button smashing, breaking the cycle of randomly giving orders only when someone was down.

But those are all aspects of game testing, which can be easily modified.

It's hardly to tell, would be the game giving more Fun, if it'll be perfectly balanced.

We tried to make more forgiving balance, but playtesters pretty fast found themselves frustrated by unbusiness.  

Last thing that I've mentioned is that easy balance leads to new additional mechanics.


Anyway, thanks again for advices, we'll sure think over them.

Звук голодных рабочих напугал меня, когда я впервые услышал его. Игра неплохая и получилась довольно интересной. Минусы: моя видеокарта "летит" во время игры :D

Возьмем на заметку - разобраться с оптимизацией к следующему джему.

Ну у меня не лагало, просто вентиляторы разгонялись. Наверное ограничение FPS нужно добавить. Возможно пофиксит проблему.

Are you sure this made within the jam timeframe? You guys are amazing team! I like the gameplay of this. The music though very enjoyable. Almost hour into the game and I’m not tired of it. This game is very complete that many small problems is just too small and can be forgiven like.

  • worker dragging along to their destination instead of running. Or hammering the food roundtable instead of eating. etc.
  • worker stuck on round table running.
  • worker hungry pretty fast.
  • the “ow” sound crying for food sometime decide to be directional most of the time it’s not and just drown out other sound.

And I’m just nitpicking at this point but

  • The in-game clock format seems odd instead of 0.00 it’s 0.0
  • Status sometime report wrong and everything empty, have to click on worker again to get actual status.

Overall, it’s very pleasantly enjoyable 12/10 - too good for this game jam xD

Was a bit put off by the download size at first but this is a much more complete and polished experience than I was expecting! Graphics are and audio are both good, but a proper tutorial, or at least an even easier first level, would be appreciated since there's a lot of instructions right off the bat without a way to reference them again.

Cool concept. Had a lot of fun playing it. It's like a colony sim where you have to babysit all of your colonists and make them build effigies in your honor. The graphics are awesome as well as sound design. Obstructing the players view into horizon will benefit to player's immersion and it would not feel like you are building something on a floating terrain in the middle of a skybox :) You should probably add a more practice oriented tutorial on few examples so that you don't overwhelm the player with the things he has to do throughout the level.

I liked the game, but I got stuck behind the stairs in the training. The game was fun and the art and animations looked great. The music was nice and the gameplay was interesting. Great job!

Интересно вышло.
Заметил интересный момент как в жизни, если часто отвлекать рабочих на покушать или полечить (про запас) - они в итоге меньше работают и меньше успевают.
Приходиться балансировать и это хорошо.
Немного не удобно смотреть на параметры - когда несколько рабочих в одном месте, а такое часто бывало.
