I died at the first level and was super confused. Turns out it was evil bush hahahahaha. Yea, if that’s more visible then great. Otherwise, I loved it. A bit morbid collecting body parts lol. But really cool take on it, I like getting health when I piece her together. The jumps felt short when I first tried to avoid the evil bush (that’s the official name now) but after a couple of tries I got accustomed to it. Difficulty ramps up but things never felt too unfair. I rather not start over if I die, but the timeframe is small so I’m not going to be too picky about it. Lots of time after to improve if you want!

Great entry, had lots of fun!

thanks for playing and your comment, evil bush I love it ,  i was thinking to  put a check point half way through , but Time was running out and the game is only about 3 minutes long once you get the hang of it so there is that, check out my
playthrough vid if you want to see the ending !

I found that the game had a bit of a curve, I found that coming to the end of the game you are in a rush to get to the top before getting hit by floating skulls. I think some way to fight back in exchange for a debuff would improve the gameplay, I like the fact that as you collect parts of the body the health of the player is increased, but even at that point the damage recieved is too "punishable". I can understand the simplicity of the health bar but at the same time it wouldnt have been hard to add some variety in the damage recieved. Without any change at all, it can make for a good rage game.

I was so busy these past two weeks  and was so rushed at the end that I almost missed the upload , thanks for playing and your feed back, OMG Right ! at the end it is a rush. lol just as I was rushing  to finish and do a build with as little bugs as possible.  RAGE is what i was going for by the end of it.  I wanted to balance out the health and add a way for the player to fight back but sadly i was running out of time but. if you do manage to make it to the end there is a way to finish the game very easily. the game is so short I can get it done in about 3- 4 minutes .  I am working on a play-trough video will upload on YouTube later. Check it out when you get some time

So, starting off on a strong point: game has no bugs, and is playable which is a good standard for jams. Loss screen, and (hopefully) a win screen. I didn't end up finishing the game because I got to the last level and just did not want to deal with the skulls. :P

I really liked the game. I think the cute-morbid aesthetic was pretty charming, and I think it worked well with the mechanics and difficulty.

The difficulty was pretty bearable. The obstacle in the first stage is a little hard to see so I (and my wife) both died there before we figured out what was hurting us. Overall though, I think it was a pretty reasonable difficulty curve. The (presumably) last level with two skulls firing out of the wall at the same point made me stop playing, mostly because I didn't know how I was supposed to deal with that. They didn't seem to be blocked by terrain, boxes, and the ol' reliable "jump on their heads" move wasn't working for me.

The music was simple, but nice, and the SFX felt on-theme as well. Overall, it was pretty good! Good job!

Cool game! It was fun to play! I'm also a fan of dark themes, so that was great to me! The difficulty scaling was pretty fantastic until that last level, which I found got frustrating pretty quickly. Also, I didn't see the obstacle in the first level until after I'd walked into it a couple of times. Maybe add a red glow around it like you did with the rest of the hazards? Other than that, fantastic work!

I wanted to add a stranger things twist to the theme also and I am a big fan  Hee Hee .  Yeah that "bloody death bush " at the beginning is a pain, look out for my play trough video should be up tomorrow, I have been supper busy these past 2 weeks.  Thanks so much for playing and your comments.

Can you put a screenshot or alternative image for the game’s cover page? Makes it nicer when sharing later. Also, maybe add controls on the game page?
