Wow, this was awesome. I like the building your defense style and the blablabla sound when wife was talking. I did not manage to defeat her but it was a fun experience.
Pretty cool. I like the mechanics but I think it would be even better if there were upgrades or something for your weapon. I'm also not sure I understand how the theme of the enemies fit in. I think a couple of sentences explaining more about that at the start might have been nice to have to help understand haha. Nice job!
Unfortunately, I was not a fan of this one. The enemies were very difficult to deal with since they move so fast and the character shoots so slowly. This resulted in multiple game overs. I also don't quite get the concept of moving furniture to block enemies if I can't really stop them. I also felt that I had too little time to set up my defenses, which made me vulnerable to enemy attacks. I think you should split attacking and moving furniture to separate buttons so that its easier to do both. I would also either slow down the enemies or increase the fire rate, as this will make it easier to deal with them. Also, what's the correlation between the enemy types and the plot, they seem to come out of nowhere. Overall, I think this game needs a bit of reworking.
Also I was able to make it so when the furniture spawns it can block all paths to the door
I like the story. I love the ability to create barricades- to help you defeat the enemies. It's a cool idea to have instead of your weapon upgrade as time goes on, instead you get more furniture. Overall very polished for a game jam game!
