Developer Feedback Questions
Were you able to make it to the end of the game? If not, which part stopped you? If so, was it easy to do so? Too easy? Or did it take a while? Did you need to look at the hint? Also is the sound too loud?

I won't lie at first I only made it through one loop and then was gonna leave feedback saying "eh sound and visuals were pretty neat but visual novel/interactive fiction type games were never my thing". And while thats still the case I think this game went far further with the time looping fourth wall breaking stuff than any other jam game I've played. It was really cool, especially when I tried to get around the game by refreshing the page (which of course didn't work).

I do agree with the previous comments about shortening up some of the opening text blocks though, it can be quite a bit to read all in one go.

So while its still not my preferred genre of games (even VN or interactive fiction games with great writing and voice acting made by friends aren't especially my preference), I found it intriguing. Good work!

The sound and visuals are good. The issue I have is the text. Too much text is hard to read... Make text blocks shorter. One or Two sentences. This way, If you are like me, you can browse through the text without reading the entire thing and still understand what is going on. Also revealing the text, like letter by letter, with an option to speed it up will also be a nice feature. These little things will help this game a lot, especially as it is a text game.

I thought the sound and visuals were pretty strong. My one bit of feedback would be to break up the pages of text a little more at the beginning. I felt it was more comfortable to read once the dialogue choice came in; maybe adding a 'continue' button about every paragraph or two could be good.

Interesting concept!

Dang, I wanted to do that (the extra Continue buttons) way back at the beginning of NDJ2,  but thought it would be too much and slow things down. It should be doable, though! Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing!

this game has a really good soundtrack and i will be honest that i got jumpscared by that thing in the end when i have chosen to help rosa to escape the void... i think it would be nice to have some continuation to the story.. also i really liked the atmosphere of the game... the background image with that song playing fits really well... it was a good game... and the only text based game that scared me.

well... if youd like you can rate my game Forespend in the improve my game jam. i would be happy to get some feedback

"The only text-based game that scared me" that's really high praise, thank you! I'm so glad you liked the game. I'm not sure if I'm going to make the game longer than it currently is; as I tried to say in my devlog I feel like the story's pretty complete and self-contained. But I'm happy you enjoyed it enough that you'd like to see more. Also I can't take credit for the music (creepy sound effects nonwithstanding) but I think it's really good too :).
