This was really cool, the very simple usage of the running, jumping and orbs in the first two levels started to make me think outside the box pretty quickly. After that I was blazing through most of the levels with a little bit of planning. It makes you feel smart when you do finally get to the end.

The only real bug I noticed was in one level where if you hit a button with an orb it toggles a block which can prevent orbs from being moved vertically between two long blue blocks, and it seems like the orb got stuck in its vertical movement form but is blocked from moving vertically so it just started spinning erratically in place.

Also kinda funny to note but in the first level it changes between the movement keys to just what to press to run. And it started with display "A" first, so I held it down and ended up running back off the edge of the map lol.

Excellent work!

i liked this one a lot... i just think some music would be really nice... also.. when i reach th blue orb the character floats through the screen and the level restarts... so to go to the next level i restarted the page to go to level selector.. but besides that i enjoyed it... i stopped in the "think twice"... tip: just try to fall on the orb when it is on bottom... i would like to play more... tell me when you make the blue orb work o make me go to next level when i reach it.. i would like to play more.

also go try my game and rate it in the jam.. it is Forespend

Hi, thanks for playing! Sorry about the bugs you ran into. Do you mind sharing what browser you're using for the game? We haven't been able to replicate this on our end so we're wondering if this might be a problem with Godot (the engine we used) and a specific browser.

oh i am using godot too.. well i use librewolf... yeah it isnt so known but its a good one because of full open source... well i could try it on firefox

ok, i discovered that the mage shouldnt be spinning so far from the orb... when i play in librewolf the mage does some big spins around the screen then touch the bottom and the level restarts.. but in firefox the magician just spins around the orb and doesnt go far away... and then i reach next level... yeah it seems like a browser problem

Thanks for looking into it for me. That's a weird bug! The behavior you're describing sounds similar to a bug we ran into when refactoring that we solved by switching from using the portal's transform.position to using it's global_position instead. I'm wondering if somehow Godot on Librewolf isn't handling global_position correctly. I'm not at all familiar with the engine internals so I couldn't tell you.

Anyway, thanks again. Excited to check out Forespend when I have some free time.

What a great concept and execution! I really liked the graphics; the portal animation was particularly cool. It would often take me a million tries to execute any given manuever, but that's just my lackluster platforming skills lol. The controls were a lot more intuitive than I thought they would be. I really liked thinking through how to get through a level, as well as the moments when it finally clicked and the satisfaction of successfully carrying out a plan of action. I also think you did a great job with the progression! I really felt like I was able to ease into the game and learning how it worked.

I really enjoyed this game! Great job!
