This is definitely one of my absolute favorite games in the IGMC. As soon as the second character popped on screen, I could not stop laughing. It's clear that a lot of heart went into this.

The technical aspects are definitely wonky. There's not a whole lot on the gameplay side of this game; the (rare) battles are kind of mindless, there's a lot of spelling errors and event errors, it's possible to softlock yourself easily in areas by NPCs wandering around...but you know what? I didn't really care. I kept on going because I was so in love with the characters and wanting to see what happened next. Both of the side characters and their interactions with Jiro was incredible, and I'm so happy that you managed to push through and get it out.

I don't know if you plan on continuing this or just want to dust off your hands and start on something else, but whatever the case is, this game is definitely one of THE highlights of the IGMC for me. Well done, mate! Damn well done!

Thank you Terminus!

You don't know how much it means for me to read this! I can see that you took your time writing it and I appreciate it.

All the love and comments I've received because of this game has motivated me to start learning a few skills and start working on a better version. I want to complete this game and see what people think about it :)

It may take some time since I'm on my last year of Uni and I've been busy, but I'm sure that I will finish it! I hope these news make you happy.

Take care and I hope you have a nice day! ^^

Hi Codapill. Thank you so much for playing! ^^

It really makes me happy to see people sending me messages and comments talking about having fun with our game. It brightens up my day, specially on these hard times.

When I find the time I'll make a better version of the game, better written and with more polish added to it.

I hope you have a nice day and are as happy as I was reading you comment! c:

I'm not usually a fan of something that's so true-to-life as this is, but I have to admit you handled the balance between gameplay and the elements relating to streaming incredibly well and the humor hits every intended beat.

One thing that might be fun to add, at the beginning when you're getting the stream donos -- I'd love to see those get added to the player's "gold" total throughout!

I truly enjoyed this game and hope you'll continue working on, and releasing games in the future!

Hi Erin! Thank you so much for you kind review ^^

I really enjoyed making the game and It made me wish to explore the streaming dynamic a little bit more since it was fun to make and people seem to enjoy it. :)

Also I really like the idea of adding the donations to the player's gold. But It kinda went over my head at the time xD

Thank you again for playing and I'm really glad that the humor was to you liking. I hope next time to make something even better ^^

I was enjoying this game just fine during stream, but I got stuck at the anime expo: after getting the charger in the tree maze, the man from the quest got into the entry space to the maze, and locked me in. I tried waiting for him to move, but he must be stuck. It's a shame, because I was having fun :<

  • The custom art is nice, if a bit rough. Some parts such as the fences are a bit hard to see.
  • The whole dynamic of the stream chat was very fun and by far the best part of the game. #Sticksupremacy.
  • IT was cute how the "gold" reward from fights was stream donations.
  • I enjoyed the snappiness an low difficulty of combat, as a simple pace-breaker. Too many contest games have combat that becomes tacked-on and tedious.
  • The text in general needs a second pass to correct small but common grammar and such mistakes.
  • The game page description gave a lot more context than the game did, not sure if that's intentional. I was expecting the hero to be an actually old and decrepit man, but instead it looks like a normal dude with some wrinkles, which doesn't look THAT old (in fact the loose shirt made him look like a silver fox Fabio XD)
  • The sound design is a bit mixed, I especially noticed the lack of sound effects when doing the teleporter find section.

It's a bummer about the softlock, but I was too far in to have the will to start again from scratch :T Good job on what I saw so far.

Hi Indrah, thanks for playing our game!  It really made me really happy to see that you enjoyed the game, regardless of it's flaws.

The art was hard to make, since neither Neki or I were good at making sprites and this was my first time making sprites for RPG maker. I guess a few mistakes were to be expected ^^;

The stream was one of the parts that made me fall in love about the idea of making this game in the first place. I'm glad you liked it as much as I did writing the dialogue for it!

I'm sorry about the grammar. English is not my first language but I'm glad that at least the game can be enjoyed ^^

About the game description: I guess it was a mistake on my part. Since I wanted to imply that the hero was seen as old and unable to fight the final boss, but not that old for him to be unable to go on an adventure. xD  (Also a lot of my friends told me that he hero looked like a "silver fox" although I'm not sure what that means :c )

It was a shame that I couldn't catch the stream this time. I managed to be there back when you played the game I participated on the IGMC of 2018! (It was Mirror/Mirror by BlackRoseMii).

Sometimes I feel like I made some of the dialogue a little too serious, since I was having a lot of struggles when making the game. But in the end I'm glad I was able to make it in time and see that some people find joy in it. It brings a smile to my face when people shout #STICKSUPREMACY xD

Thank you very much for your feedback, It really means a lot to me.  I really hope to make an even better game next time. c:

Honestly your comments kind of make me like the project a bit more. If art really was neither of your proficiencies, this is all the more impressive. AS for the text errors, they did not read as "not native" errors, but rather "woopsie I didn't do a second pass on the draft", so great job!

Also psst, a silver fox is a term for a handsome grey-haired man.  Tho to be fair the romance novel shirt pulls half the work there XD

If you missed the stream but are still interested, here you go (the descriptionhas the tim where yours starts):
