Custom Assets
The game uses some custom images and plugins to pull some effects. There are some modifications to the engine to re-work the game over screen a bit as well.

The bars on the HP bar are a very nice touch. The overall presentation is quite nice in combat, the simple UI tweaks make for a very clean modern composition.
Though it's just a short jam game, FYI couple minor bugs. Retrying first battle, the screen stays red until I win. Retrying a random battle after that, it stays red until I leave the house.
I liked the custom window skin, status bars, and banter at the beginning of battles. I have a few nitpicks, like spelling errors and a mapping issue (let me know if you want to see them), but it's overall a fine game.
Short, but high quality.

I know you didn't have time to really work on this, but it was fun and brief. The battle camera and UI were cool, and I love me some battle gab text.

I liked the unique UI and some elements of the battles. EX: Harold taunting enemies at the start of battles is a nice touch. The music was really poppin as well! Wish there was a bit more to the story/characters. Cool game! :)
