Game Engine / Tools
I used Unity to make the game, sfxr for sound effects, and my brain to come up with the idea.

How does your game fit the theme?
The game's protagonist is left virtually alone in a hospital because there was limited space on a spaceship that was leaving an apoctolyptic earth to head to outer space. (The goal of the game is to find a space for yourself on the space ship).

This was a different kind of game. Text based game, but fun to play and distinctive πŸ™‚!

Gameplay
Experience an adventure through text commands. Nice to find out how and what and get further into the story. It is good that there was an instruction button so that you know what kind of commands to type. This would also have been a nice adventure with a graphic novel style instead of just text. Maybe for an update or next Jam. 

Graphics
The background is simple but with some movement for variety and the comets are nice. The rest is text of courseπŸ˜‰.

Audio
Background atmosphere sound track was good. The type of SFX was very present. Luckily it could be turned off πŸ˜‰.

Theme
Spaceship going to space. Check. Could maybe have been some more but it is ok.

Devlog
Glad you have one and nice to read. Could maybe be a bit more comprehensive, but still good effort.

Overall a well done text adventure. Nice job!

I would like to point out that, part of my implementation of the theme was in the story. There was restricted space on the ship. Hence why he was left behind.

I didnt play long enough to feel I can rate it fairly. The parser was pretty tedious (no N or even go N for directions for example)

Neat, I haven't played a text adventure in a while. It would be convenient to have a quick-reference list of keywords on the side of the screen, like:
use <item>

examine <item>

I had to keep opening up the help window to figure out what commands I could try.

Gameplay/Fun: good, was curious where the story would go, found enough items with uses to make me feel like I was making progress. Got stuck after getting into the control room with the keyboard, though -- I kept trying to interact with the keyboard and unlock the other door but didn't know where to go. Tried a second time to play through and realized that the vaguely-named "enter" could be used to interact with the keyboard, which wasn't intuitive. "examine" I used a lot but it was clunky to type fast -- "look at" could be used instead. Found a bug where if you 'take all' where the broken-flashlight is and where the battery is -- you can come back later and take them again. I like 'take all' a lot, but I wish it would list what I picked up when I sent that command.

Art: nice comet animations. Minor thing: felt like the star-color was too similar to the color of the text. While it wasn't hard to read, it could've been easier. Would've liked even simple graphics of inventory because this was 1 graphics step above purely-text adventure games. Could've used a simple map, maybe. I'm used to textadventure.co.uk games, so I admit I'm biased toward those conveniences in text adventure games. The size of the game did not fit well within itch's window: looks like the top edge was cut off.

Audio: Lovely background music, nonintrusive. Mute sfx button did not work though -- I expected it to mute the background music since I hadn't noticed any other sounds.

Theme: Yeah. At first it seemed just like a post-apocalyptic scene and no space relation. Reading your description on this page tells me there's a spaceship. (I got to the high tech room but got stuck before understanding that a spaceship was involved. I did see the NASA uniform, so there were hints.)

Devlog: Good, describes the creative process of making and discarding ideas well.

I'll definitely take all your critics in consideration for the future. Was really hoping no one would find the flashlight bug, couldn't fix it in time xD.

I was a little afraid if I went with a traditional ta art style, it wouldn't earn good ratings among the non text adventure players so I decided against it. Also the mute button just mutes the typing sfx as it can get high pitched and annoying.

Gameplay: I was utterly confused, to be honest. I spent a good fifteen minutes, but I did not understand what to do all -- Yes, I read the description and the in-game commands.

Art: For a text adventure, the UI was not good; it just does not feel very polished (Please do not take offense). 

Audio: Quite good.

Theme: From what I understood, you did a good job on the theme.

The responses worked fine, but they were the same half of the time. I could not figure out how to find items or what to do. I will give the game another shot later.

Ok let me know if you have any questions. I meant to include a walkthrough in the download, but I ran out of time. At the start of the game you can start by taking the picture, examing it, and going east.
