GAMEPLAY
Nice try for a first jam game! I found the concept of using a microphone innovative, though I ended up shouting/talking randomly to just progress, which might not have been the intended interaction. Sometimes I did not know what I should do. More player guidance could enhance the gameplay experience in that part of the game. But had fun trying everything out.
ART STYLE / VISUALS
The dark style of the self-made graphics was very appealing and effectively set the tone for the game. Well done! Certainly the eye!
AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The music was fitting for the game's atmosphere, and the integration of microphone use added a unique layer to the audio experience.
INNOVATION
Using the microphone as a control mechanism was particularly innovative for this game jam and added a distinct element to the gameplay.
THEME
The theme was checked in this game.
All in all, a very good submission. Keep it up like this 馃挭.
Good game with a very cool idea! I loved the idea. The animations were clunky and sometimes buggy. The game bugged when I fell down a bridge and I couldn't progress further. Then the screen went black and I couldn't do anything.
Cool idea, i liked the door but it was a bit annoying, I didn麓t understand anything (soy espa帽ol) but It has a great concept so with a bit of polished it will be a very good game. Bien hecho!
Thanks for playing. I didn't time it well to achieve creative techniques that better explained the story, more dialogues with the cat, more sounds and characters. Many characters were discarded in the end. But for being my first Jam, I'm glad I managed to get it to an acceptable end. (I'm Colombian, go through the Dev-Log to delve deeper into the creative idea)
Cool idea and very striking art. Wasn't exactly sure what I was supposed to do in most of the sections, I was just saying AAAA into the mic while walking around to see if anything happened. I was also stuck in the room with the bar for a while where it was almost full, not sure what I did but eventually the last little bit filled up and finished the game.
My mic is broken so I cant get pass the cat. I wont rate it as I feel its not fair if I havent tested it properly but the art/atmosphere feels very unique.
The art looks amazing, I especially love the screen with the big eye. It looks awesome! It feels like a very unique way to interact with the game. Although I just found myself saying "AAAAAAAAA" every time I'm stuck, hoping that it will do something 馃槀
I was stuck in the room with the red bar filling at the top. I managed to almost fill it completely, but it stopped, and I didn't know what to do.
Unclear exactly what the idea was but I liked the concept for sure, eerie atmosphere was fun. I think what that other person was saying is that after you break the bridge, you can鈥檛 leave the screen except fall into the pit, which has a tunnel on the right that can鈥檛 be entered, leaving you no choice but to close the application (or jump your way against the walls out of the pit and then realize you can鈥檛 leave the screen like I did, lol).
Super neat though!
Oh! that did it :) Incidentally it made me think about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voice_Piece_for_Soprano which I got to experience in MOMA in 2015
The idea and style are straight forward. It fits the theme. But some gameplay elements are not
