Game

That was really da funk πŸ˜! I found my band πŸ’ͺ!

Really fun little puzzle platformer game.

Liked the art style. It was very funny of course with the duck and quack πŸ˜‰. The background music suited the style of the game and funk well. Gave a nice vibe ambiance.

The puzzles were pretty neat. Not too hard, but also not too simple. When you solved one, it gave you a satisfied feeling that you used quack in the right way.

The game had a polished and finished feeling. Not too long but also just long enough for a game jam game to be played till the end.

Controls were smooth. Jumping is always a difficult one in platformer games. Can be frustrating if you jump dead all the time. But it worked. Did die a few times of course but after some experience I managed to overcome all obstacles

Would be great to see more levels in a later update. With more challenges and more funky music πŸ˜‰.

Overall this was a fun and enjoyable game and a job well done for this Game Jam.

Devlog

Nice comprehensive 2-part devlog. It gave a nice insight into how the game was imagined and created. Interesting insight into the development processes.

Thank you so much! I did the maze level, and I almost scrapped it because I thought it was too long. Glad you thought it was fun!

The music is great, the pixelart is great, and the devlog is great. I really enjoyed this game. It is a fun addition to replay some levels with the gasoline. The cutscenes were a bit long. The gameplay was sometimes a little difficult, but not so much that it gets annoying.

I'm glad you liked it! In the future, I'd like to do a proper cutscene system where you press a button to advance the text, but this janky solution was the best I could come up with for our needs.
