Very cool game, from the music choice to the theme to the look. A really well done and polished product. I almost got to the end, but there was one object remaining and I couldn't find it after a while.

My one complain would be the aiming mechanics. It's quite hard to aim properly at enemies while on the move. It'd have benefited from twin stick mechanics. Despite this, and because the game is easy (as it should be, as we control a monster), we can still do a good job killing everyone.

Overall, a very good submission. Congratulations, host! :)

Great game. You really feel like a giant monster destroying worlds >:)

I love all the destruction visuals. Very satisfying. And I love the trail the monster leaves behind and the laser attack. The animations and models are also awesome. The general aesthetic of the game is very clear and very tight.

I think a minimap, or a hud displaying where nearby enemies are would be the best improvement to this game. It felt like you could get lost in a giant, empty void with no landmarks to guide you. It felt very empty after you killed enough people.

I was sort of able to cheese the game. After I got the final laser power up, I went to the center of the map and just used my eyes to spin in circles over and over, obliterating everything. I love how the laser feels, but it does break the game. It should have a max limit.

Good to hear you enjoyed playing it. That's ultimately one of the goals of the game jam, to make something fun.

A mini-map or indeed an arrow somewhere would definitely be something I will add next time. Was also wandering to the last opponents myself. But that bug, or shall we call it a feature 馃槅, of the infinite laser I hadn't found myself yet. Of course it was not the intention that you could finish the game this way but still nice to know that it can be done 馃檪.

Normally I'm not a big fan of the 2D gameplay with 3D objects but in this game it works really well. The destruction of objects is really awesome and the models + animations are sick. Sounds worked really well with the actions you see in game.

I would've liked some sort of dodge move so it would be easier to kite the enemy, now I was mainly head to head with the other ships abusing my attack speed :D

The game looks great, it's fun to play and sounds very cool, but I personally lack a small pointer to the nearest target that needs to be destroyed. Towards the end of the game, when there were only a couple of objects left to destroy, I just flew around in the void, trying to find them. In general, I liked everything! I will wait for the further development of the game

I had exactly the same thing while playing the day after the deadline馃榿...
After a while when there are few enemies it becomes a bit of a scavenger hunt. An arrow to the nearest destructible object would have been a welcome feature indeed. Thanks for the tip! And I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

That is a good tip indeed. Some block moves or something like that would be a good addition. Now you can only get out of the way or shoot at the incoming missiles to black. I had something like that in mind for a while, but unfortunately not enough time to work it out. Still, I'm glad you were able to enjoy the game 馃槉.
