Interesting concept! I included it in my Godot Community Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Weird but interesting game, may need some work on the movement mechanics and give more meaning to the stage, decide if goes for pure action or more stragic and agressive enemies.

Developer

Thanks!
I'll take it into account, if I ever decide on keeping development of it :)

Multiple heat meters is quite a step up from what the other games tried to do ! Interesting.
I feel the controls that make the neck bend were too much, they didn't serve any particular purpose.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! :)
They do actually, the neck controls are the only one that doesn't raise your heat, so if your head malfunctions, you can reposition the cannon with the neck :P

Ah I see, ok. since the enemies weren't much of a threat, i never found myself in need of another way to rotate the canon. Good idea, but which didn't particularly shine in this prototype then :)

No Linux build :(

I can build for linux, but I don't have a machine to test on it right now :\

if you won't mind that I can send it to you

Go for it, brother.

Interesting mechanic, although that's one crazy mecha-birb.
My suggestion is to pick a lighter color for the bullets as it's really hard to see them on the higher (darker) parts of the map.

Never thought I'd see a bird spinning it's head over 360º but there it is:

Thanks for suggestion, I'll take that into consideration :)

But notice, its not a bird but a birb, hence can rotate its head whatever angle it wants :P
