I really liked the concept of this one! Making each body part have its own cooldown etc was really clever.  The shop screen was confusing at first...I went two rounds before I realized how to add parts to the body :D

Add some animations etc and you got something here!

I liked the paper doll monsters. Just wanted some small animations on the body parts. Even just a little rotate when they activate. Good job for your second jam though!

Had a really great time playing this! Surprised there is quite a lot of build crafting opportunity, great job!

Wow, what a cool idea. I did not understand what everything does, but switching body parts alone was fun enough! At some point I guess I messed up my build, lost pretty hard against the shock enemy

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. Yeah the UI needs a big change. It's very confusing at the moment.

Great take on the theme! I was wondering whether someone else would engage with Kafka as well :D

I like the visual drawings a lot, but the GUI makes it look a bit weird. Also, it would be cool if you could access the stats later in the game, not only in the menu. And there is something weird with hovering over the body - very hard to select it, need to approach from a right angle :)

That said - it was a fun and entertaining experience!

Thank you! I had to add Kafka haha!! You can't have this theme without the name.

I totally agree!! The UI was a last minute thrown together thing. I needed to give it more time. It did make it super hard to properly play the game. Thanks for the feedback.

I enjoyed seeing all of the different creatures you made. At first I thought there was a bug with you only being able to have limbs on one side but then realized they are labeled left and right side. I do think some more balancing could be used because after a while I didn’t care about the shop. Also similar to another comment giving the player something to do for the auto-battler, or lower the time would help I think. It is a long time to just watch.

Thank you! Yeah the balancing was totally off :( I was originally going to host something in AWS and have users vs other user builds. But I just totally ran out of time. Thanks for the feedback!!

Really neat concept! I wonder how this businessman got himself in this strange situation. I wish the combat were more interactive for the player, but other than that it was pretty cool!

Developer

Thank you! Yes I agree! It does need more to do in the battle phase.
