Game Description
Silly game about catching spirits and avoiding bad spirits
How does your game tie into the theme?
My game fits the theme because of the character being a ghost. As well as the music and background art being Halloween themed

Some weird window issues, but forcing full screen fixed them. It was a little confusing at first that missing a spirit also made me loose a life, but that was discoverable. I enjoyed the music!
I like the characters! very simple game but has a finished game loop and all. Well done for your first game jam.
I like the graphics! (Seems like its black thorn prod inspired?) I noticed that the game window is meant to be quite large, I couldn't get the entire game to fit on my laptop (maybe the itch io fullscreen button being enabled could have helped?) This kind of caused issues since things falling offscreen penalize the player.
I have never heard of black thorn prod, sounds cool though. As for the full screen issues, yeah I am not that exprinced with Godot and I was a little worried about fullscreen and windowed messing up the game so I decided to just make all of the game full screen which I regret. Next jam I will make sure this is not an issue though. Thanks for the feedback!
That ghost character is hilarious I love him. Nice job
Thanks!
There seems to be some bugs regarding the game over screen (opens when you click the settings button for instance), but other than that, not bad at all for a first entry! My first GWJ was farrr worse lol.
As a note, you might want to look into the project’s window settings and the camera nodes for your next jam. It can help prevent weird window issues with different resolutions.
Thanks for the reply! I did not notice that issue with the settings prior to uploading the game, my bad.
