heavily cave story inspired wasn’t thinking risk of rain when I made it but I see the connections! I’ve played a lot of RoR so maybe it’s hiding in the back of my mind

Sure, I'll do that as soon as I get back to my dev machine.

Yes, thanks for playing, I designed it to be optimally played on gamepad, so I'm glad you tried it out that way! I am planning on doing a balance patch once the rating period is over, to increase iframes, add knockback, and tweak enemy and boss a bit.

I no longer get this issue! Now I can struggle at the game instead! Thanks.

This is like some crazy Wheres Waldo Wario Ware game! Awesome. I love how much explanation there is with the tutorial and the difficulty ramp. made it easy to figure out whats going on amid the chaos.

Hahah sorry about the cheap shot, it was intended, cruel as it is. A tip for fighting the boss is to get overcharged using the enemies in the side room, stay overcharged and use any extra star meter to shoot "C" attacks up. Thanks for playing the game! I'll be releasing a balance patch after the Godot Wild Jam's rating period is over, which may tweak the boss difficulty curve a bit.

This was super cool and well presented. I love the manual and the immersion of running the virtual console. I disliked clicking on the screen for controls, having mapped keyboard controls would have let me more fully enjoy the game.

I agree! I'll include this feature in my post-jam update.

Try firing it at the same time as jumping to get maximum height. Sorry it wasn't explained well!

Really like this one. Lots of charm and entertaining concepts like washing the wrong colors together ruining the clothes. Well made.

Love this submission, and I had a good time playing it.

  • Funny use of theme and good intro
  • Slick graphics and lighting
  • Unique gameplay loop
  • Chuckle-worthy writing

I ran into two very small issues:

  • The boxes got jammed up on the belt and I couldn't pick any of them up at one point.
  • I wish whether a box had been scanned or taped was indicated on the box itself, the one down in the corner is kind of small.
