Game Description
Player completes madlib-style stories. In the end, a story is generated using previously entered words

How does your game tie into the theme?
The player is playing as a "god of stories" who is making changes to the folklore stories that have been passed down through generations. You could say the player themselves are their own folklore by doing this.

Thanks for stopping by the stream. If you wanted to watch it again in the future ive got the vod below timestamped to your game. Overall the game was great. Was a nice take on a madlibs-style game having that go with various folklore stories. Checked out the ending after stream and it is such a good ending for the game concept lol

Maybe it's because I did way too many madlibs in my life, but I just didn't find these adaptations at all engaging.  I think there needed to be some background music, perhaps a different track for each tale, to keep me going while I punched in different parts of speech over and over.  The idea works mechanically, it just wasn't engaging as a game.  Still, great job finishing a Wild Jam for the first time (I don't know if it's your first ever jam?), and thanks for giving us a game to play!

Full points on Originality and working with the Theme here, liked that a lot, liked the idea. i feel like the madlib approach could work, but it fell a little flat for me. the few words i exchanged just didnt seem to make a real difference. I was still reading the exact same fairytale, just with a few typos here and there, like a mediocre translation. I did chuckle when the Princess didnt want to be friends with a frog cause the frog was too lit af, he was too cool for her. i think i would have enjoyed it more if a large portion of words were exchanged, or all instances of the same word replaced with a suggestion (Snow white turns to Snow-red through the entire story). Also maybe giving us the general theme or title of the story when picking the words, just so the suggestions dont feel quite as arbitrary and random, giving the player a bit more control over what he wants to achieve with the words they pick. The Final story for example was fun again with so many changes. im mostly just rambling about my ideas tho, i hope that doesnt come across as criticism, you did great. Being able to reread the stories at the end was a nice touch, going the extra mile.

Nice! I never would have thought to do a mad-libs implementation, but it's very solid! I really like the evolving stories interpretation of the prompt

The idea is a good concept especially with folklore. It's just that sometimes the stories didn't read well e.g. "as white as cherries". It would have been nice to have suggestions or some word filtering involved. However, the art was nice and fit well into the whole book theme of the game.

Fun game! Nice take on the theme and lovely artstyle too. My personal favourite was where Hansel and Gretel found bread made of toast, and stole all the pizza from the blacksmith before honking back home!
