Game Description
Four short minigames, all with "overload" theme
How does your game tie into the theme?
Game is "overloaded" with interpretations of "overload": mall is overloaded with people, your bank account can get overloaded, you get overloaded with bought items and the last game has an energy overload mechanic.

It's nice to have many games instead of one, but I think they are too unrelated to each other, I wish one game made but bigger
This game features 4 separate tasks that are unrelated to each other.
In the Mall game, I ended up just spam clicking, my eyes were never going to parse through the crowd.
The "Purchase" game simply demanded a little patience to parse through so you don't overdraft by getting more than you can afford.
The balance game was the hardest (naturally)
The beat'em up was the second hardest, mostly because it lacked the kind of feedback you'd normally have in a game like that.
A strong entry for a solo newcomer, and you'll grow as you continue to jam.
The minigames are actually related, but maybe that wasn't as clear as I planned to.
Thanks for the feedback. I am planning to grow as I continue to jam ;p
Cool premise! Kind of felt like a "WarioWare-like" with a nifty little narrative~!
I think my favorite minigame was probably the last one (where you're fighting baddies). Compared to the other ones, it just looked the most interesting and felt fairly good. I think my only critique for that one would probably be about aiming. Took me a minute to figure out if I was aiming properly with both the punch and especially the laser. I kind of wished for some sort of indicator or hitmaker to show where I could attack before committing to it and watching the animation fire. Though honestly, it's kind of nitpick. I eventually did figure out the "vague area" for where that hitbox would appear.
Regardless, sick stuff!
Thanks so much!
Soon after coming up with the idea, I realized that it's a lot like WarioWare lol
I think the last minigame had the most fun concept, but I threw it together hastily, so it definitely lacks polish.
But if anyone asks, it's actually planned and canon that the game you play in-game is just bad. A commentary on the state of AAA gaming industry or something ;]
Glad you liked it!
its alright, thought i was a tad bit disappointed it wasn a splitscreen madness like "man enough" since the thumbnail reminded me of it, games are solid but i feel like they would work more in conjuction than in warioware type separation
That's an obscure comparison ;p I prefer it the way it is, but maybe a splitscreen version would fit the theme better
Oh no, I run it on a Mac, and unfortunately, as we know, these games crash on browsers. I would have liked to try it on macOS because I really enjoyed the first little game... I'm enjoying it from the cover screen... great spirit.
I didn't know there are such issues. If I did, I would have at least tried to export to Mac ;// I'll remember this for the next one!
Looks like fun, but unfortunately, couldn't run it for long, it killed my browser like so many others after a few minutes of play.
That's too bad ;/ I even tested it on an older laptop..
really well done, congrats on the game.
Thanks! ;]
