Nice submission. A cool twist on the runner game. It was cool when I was able to switch lines to avoid dead ends, but it felt like somethings I would be on a track where there was no way to escape. Regardless it's a new idea!

Really cool idea! It's not just simple runner, you came with more original idea. It's fun to play, but sometimes it's hard to switch lines, you don't really feel controls. Also it's a bit sad that you don't have sfx. But I like the game!

This is an infinite runner, but most of my runs have been impossible to make progress in. often I would have the rails generate where I cannot switch lanes at all (especially near the sides of the track) so I did not know what I did wrong. The actual track system looks pretty good though.

Developer

that's on me, my random script is not very good

Great idea, bit like an infinite runner, subway surfer style game. Nice controls idea. Could perhaps have done with feeling a little more "immediate" perhaps. Nicely done.

Developer

thanks!

I had some fun with this one.  It's nice to see a 3D game in the jam.

Thanks!

This was fun. I enjoyed the controls, they make it feel like a switchboard that a conductor might use (no idea if this is how it works). Something to look into for low effort polish for 3D games is making quick n dirty textures with ShaderMaterial or StandardMaterial and Noise2D as a sampler to add random noise and like the other commenter said, adjust things like specular or roughness and maybe move the vertices based on the random noise. Overall great entry, and nice use of procedural generation.

Developer

thanks!

Really interesting idea, maybe you could try to make the rail layout clearer, possibly by placing them a bit further away from each other. Also, you could turn down the specular property of your green floor texture, just to give it a more finished look. A grass texture would have improved the overall graphics too. The controls were straightforward and the game was quite fun!

Developer(+1)

Turning down the specular is something I didn't know, thanks ^^
I'm very new to this 3d stuff.

I had some problems with the camera, but as soon as I can fix it I plan to make the layout clearer.

Nice work! I was able to get around 6000 with some good lane switching, but found myself ultimately losing because I would get trapped in a lane that was a very long straight to a dead end. Great job putting this together with the limited time.

Developer(+1)

I really don't know yet how to solve this problem.

At some point I just gave up on trying to make the lanes perfect and went for a "I hope this work" kind of random ahahahah

Interesting idea. I would have liked to see where you could have gotten with this if given enough time. I was able to get over 10,000 points without doing anything because the track I started on I never needed to move for a while. Are the barriers supposed to do anything because I just drove into them and nothing happened. The control scheme is a bid awkward as it is right now but I got the idea of what you were trying to do.

Developer

The randomness is not at the best, but you got very luck to reach 10k.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback ^^
