Nice track/train game not sure I got the best time on all the levels - maybe a star system which would have shown you if you have the optimal answer.
Music was fine at first but got a little repetitive so turned it off - thanks for making that easy.
The fact that you had to exit to play the next level was a little strange - understand time constraints but a popup when you win asking: try again/next level/menu would be a nice addition.
Overall again, nice little puzzle game and like have the levels progressed.
Thanks, all good points, and all things I'd have like to solve given time. I want to go back to this and add some progression tracking, working out the best solution and giving stars, and lots more.
very polished experience, great art, fitting music (although a bit repetitive after 10 levels) and nice puzzles that slowly ramped up in difficulty. I didn't really know how to get to the text level but I just had to press exit, which is a more old school way iirc. Anyways, nice job
Thanks, glad you liked it. I do plan to have a more traditional progression, with completion of one level allowing you to go directly to the next one. I also plan to put in more useful tutorials, and introduce concepts a little more gently
Great puzzle game.
Another fun game, Indigobeetle!
I've played another one of your games before, Attack-HQ, and was pleasantly surprised by that.
Back to the current jam, I had a ton of fun solving every puzzle.
Awesome points:
Critiques:
Once I got the hang of the junction/switch mechanic, it turned from a simple puzzle game to something I really had to think about, which was the best part of the game. The latter puzzles with advanced junctions were definitely the star of the show.
Overall, well done on completing a wonderful game and two thumbs up from me :)
Thank you so much for taking the time to give that feedback, much appreciated. I'll note the bugs and suggestions, all good, and make changes when the jam is over. I had planned to have more interactive tutorials as new features such as the junction and switch were introduced, but ran out of time.
It's a nice little puzzle game! I feel like we had very similar ideas for the jam.
Great little puzzle game. The junctions are a nice touch for a little extra challenge. It actually reminds me of a wooden train set I had as a kid! I couldn't figure out level 10 but I'll probably come back to give it another go. Nice job.
Thanks, 10 is a bit more challenging, I rushed the level design a bit, I only had a couple of hours left after fighting with the actual game mechanic far longer than I expected.
Nice little puzzle game. I think the levels could have been a little bit more difficult though. As of right now its mostly drawing the lines to connect stations.
thanks, the levels were a bit last minute, running out of time. Out of curiosity, did you complete level 10?
Yeah I did. It took a few tries as it was one of the harder ones. But I did just skip around on levels. To be honest it wasn't entirely clear that the different pieces were. I didn't even notice one was switching the tracks as I could barely make out the little switch on it. I guess that is what I get for jumping around in the order of puzzles.
There are rudimentary instructions, accessible from the "?" on the menu page.
