This is an interesting concept. The controls though don't seem to be what it says they are. WASD doesn't move the character but holding down the mouse button does. I also don't know what the game was doing because when I collected the thing that was making the noise I would hear someone talking that i don't understand and the stars on the screen don't seem to have a pattern to them.

Nice to see another audio-only game :) I had some issues with the controls, WASD did not seem to do anything, but left mouse seemed to move me forward. I couldn’t understand what was said after I grabbed a heart (it was very choppy– might be my PC?), so I’m not sure if I did well or not. I collected 5 or 6 hearts I think.

I obviously like the concept ;)

I'm afraid I didn't get this one at all. I used the sound to point myself in the direction of the beeping, and kept moving forwards, but nothing happened. The concept is really cool, though.

Super interesting!

You might want to try updating the description for the controls to include the actual keys. I played a couple times and just wasn't sure if I was doing anything? I tried moving around first with WASD, then with arrow keys, but thinking maybe I got stuck or something? Also tried clicking around and pressing enter and spacebar, but nothing seemed to change. Adding audio feedback when moving would have also helped this, potentially even having that feedback give me a sense of speed, like, am I walking into a wall? Or am I going somewhere?

Nice job really going all in on a wildcard!

Thanks for playing!  I 100% agree with you.  There's another game on here that did a similar thing with a lot more feedback, way more successful.  Mine is somewhat unfinished, but still functional.

both WASD and the Arrow keys should do the same thing.  The space bar jumps, but there's never any need to jump.

Aw man, this game lol. At first I was sort of frustrated. I was starring so hard at the screen trying everything possible to just accomplish something. So then I decided to close my eyes and it was like a completely different game. I didn't manage to capture a heartbeat in the end, but it was a super cool experience.

Was there some sort of audio queue for when we need to jump? I wanna beat it lol, but I'm just not sure how.

Thank you so much for playing it!  The jump was for a feature that never made it in.  I was going to have a little platformer come up after you collected each set of heartbeats for that third wild card, but I ran out of time.  You should be able to get every heartbeart with just the wasd keys, and moving the mouse around helps you locate them.

For some reason the spatial sound is slightly more intelligible with the windows version over the html5, but it's very hard to tell.

I hope you'll try it again.  The heartbeats randomly populate, so it may be easier to get a heart next time.

I'll give it another go right now. ^^
