Wonderful game - well done. Really touching story and lovely fitting visuals. As others have mentioned, I couldn't see the theme here but I understand you decided to go in a different direction. Anyway, really nicely done!

Very good game!

I somehow crashed it. I gave molti the flower, then tried to speak to the gards. Then the game crashed.

I really hope you'll flesh the game a bit more out and polish it. Would really like to play a little bit more ;)

This game is a small gem. Storytelling is it's strongest point.

Game mechanics, graphics and audio are clean and simple which is actually an advantage, because you can focus on the story.

Great job for the game created in 9 days. Really impressive.

Sadly... Game doesn't follow theme at all as you said yourself in game description.

Developer

Despite my best efforts, I've basically been unable to follow the theme in almost all the jams I've participated in, lol. Wymia started out with a premise that involved the Heartbeat theme but the story gradually progressed to make the premise obsolete.

Thank you for playing and for the praise!

Wow man what a great game ! Its fantastic the atmosphere you manage to create with so little..

The moments hit hard and are really emotionally impacting, I really hope you continue the game after the jam ! The world setting is beautifull and the dialogues are super.

Ps: I couldn't find the blue guy after I gave him the flower and he let it go, any hint ? :)

Cheers and congrats on the game! Loved it

Developer

After the flower scene, you're pretty much done with the blue guy. There's someone else at the area with multiple little rooms you may be able to help though...  What you need to do at points in the game isn't very straightforward or clearly hinted at; I learned that in a game jam, your vomit draft writing IS the final writing... I can see myself working on this little game for a while more.

I love the artstyle for Mission Zigloton, btw :)

Thanks for playing and for the kind words.

Really loved the hand drawn graphics! And great story. With these kind of emotional story games I would highly recommend fitting time for music as that really really helps a lot with the whole atmosphere more than a lot of other genres. But that saying, I really enjoyed the game!

Developer

I agree. A game's music is what stays with long after I've completed the game; sometimes the music makes or breaks an entire game for me. Unfortunately, I was fixing bugs and making new art assets right up until the last hour of the jam... I decided to not hastily compose the game's entire soundtrack in mere hours and just work with what I already have.

Thank you for playing and for the praise!

What a beautiful game and story. The art is amazing, too bad there was no music, it would have added to the atmosphere. Stunning, stellar!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the kind words! There definitely would have been full music and sound effects if there was enough time left in the jam, lol. All sorts of ideas for Wymia's music is still waiting to be realized.

I can see this adventure game being on Steam with a bit of polishing and lengthening. Really great work.
