Yeah, good game, i felt the ball a bit hard to control sometimes, the concept is cool, it reminds me to Katamari Damacy. The low-poly art is good.

The low poly art and textures look great, the idea is interesting reminds me of katamari

I can’t say it wasn’t a big inspiration because it was. Thanks!

Very fun and cool game! The only thing is that when I entered the main level one time, I fell straight through it all the way to some chains at the bottom, and when I was there, I could barely move and I had to quit it and reopen it to be able to restart because I didn't seem to go back to the menu. But apart from that, I really enjoyed the game!

That’s absolutely not supposed to happen, lol. I’m glad you liked it!

Fun game :) I agree with one of the other commenters about enabling camera rotation without having to right click. I didn't quite understand why I was eating trees and houses until I went back and re-read the description! Would be cool if you could play this on mobile and move the device to control the ball.

Developer

Thanks! I could try to make a build for Android, but the addon I used to generate the terrain doesn’t support GLES2, and I’ve read that GLES3 doesn’t work so well on mobile. I’ll see if it works anyway.

That was fun! One time i hit a tree in full speed and was catapulted across the whole map almost directly into the vulcano (maybe make the ball less bouncy or gravity higher?).  I would have also made the camera rotation enabled all the time, not just when pressing the right mouse button. Other than that, great game ;)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I have no excuse for how the camera controls, it was an experiment and I didn’t change it on time.

List of known bugs that are absolutely not features:

  • If you go backwards fast enough, the camera will clip to the ball, and show it’s cubic core.
  • You can break free from the giant chains if you ram against them fast enough.
  • The brake action doesn’t work as planned, it should be way more forceful. But it still does something.
  • Debug text was not hidden/removed from the tutorial scene. (lol)
  • Loading the main level will cause the game to hang for a bit. This happens because the initial code that places the objects around the map is at best O(n*(n-1)) and doesn’t do anything to not block the main process. My bad.
  • The little particles that spawn around the player should fade in and out, and have a color gradient to do so, but they don’t work for some reason smh.
