The gathering of helpers was a nice touch
Great concept and theme connection. I like the gathering of followers to help you fight - I also had that in my game. :-) I like the low-poly art. The only thing I really had trouble with was the controls: the fact that you can't rotate the camera makes movement tricky, and I had some trouble even getting my character out of the cave in the beginning. This also makes combat a little harder than it could be. All in all, great job getting it done in a week!
Yeah the main thing I would have liked to fix is the controls and the movement. One thing I had not quite realized the full extent of was the problem of the cave walls/boulders being culled by the player Camera if they got too close, and as a consequence being invisible objects that would block the player mouse input. There were several other things I wanted to tweak but those were the main ones haha :D
wow nice theme :O
Love the goblins having chipmunks voice actings! :D
And congrats your game has been premiered on JAM4CHANGE an hour ago :D
Thanks a lot for playing! Yeah it was fun to see some live reactions to the game :D
Interesting control scheme. I couldn't quite get the hang of it but it made for a memorable and amusing experience
Glad you still got some enjoyment out of it! The controls scheme was something I wanted to refine at some point, but ended up leaving on the shelf for too long haha
