Solid game! Nice addition with the voice acting :D
When I noticed that both the regular enemies and snipers were shooting through walls I also started doing it, which kinda cheapened the experience and removed the need for the dash/time dilation. Would have been nice if either the gun was more powerful or if it was possible to hold down LMB to shoot, as it got a bit straining in the later levels.

Nice! Overall I enjoyed it (especially the music), but I would have liked to see another element introduced to the later puzzles.

I got 542/500! Solid foundation for a larger game. It was a bit unclear how stats worked but I just chose the recruits with the highest numbers / best spread whenever one left haha.

Nice concept and charming visuals & audio. I initially built on all the tiles and was unable to change them after, so there wasn't much I could do until gameover unfortunately.

I really liked the artstyle and the concept of the game! My main issues were that the levels were a bit too big (lots of presses needed) and that it felt like I could mostly just ignore the hazards and go straight for the cows in most levels.

Congrats on finishing your first game in godot! I enjoyed your take on the theme and the music was nice!

Some suggestions/feedback from my playthrough (I grabbed all 5 endings 😅):

  • I would've liked to have more camera control (not just looking down at a set angle), and it would have been easier to make some jumps if the player cast a shadow on the ground.
  • The enemies could be more engaging if the level was more condensed

The game is fun and diffcult, which I think is a plus! I liked the artstyle and how you change the palette between arenas!

Would have been nice to be able to fullscreen (viewport + integer scaling so as not to break the pixel art), and some simple audio would have helped to know when you hit something.

Thanks again for playing! Yeah you found a gap in the walls and sadly missed the proper "ending screen", but you still saw most of the game :D

Great puzzles, loved it!

Yeah the main thing I would have liked to fix is the controls and the movement. One thing I had not quite realized the full extent of was the problem of the cave walls/boulders being culled by the player Camera if they got too close, and as a consequence being invisible objects that would block the player mouse input. There were several other things I wanted to tweak but those were the main ones haha :D

Nice game! The gameplay is quite fun and the artstyle is pretty cool imo! I was playing on the downloaded windows version and had some performance snags whenever an enemy spawned.  I'm including an error log in case it helps!

Quite a fun game! Though I didn't quite get what was going on in my first attempt (didn't realize what the purpose of the rotation was). After coming here I saw what it did and then gave it another shot,  at which point I played until I got 20k points (kinda cheesed it by going full rotation, aim backwards and move away from enemies haha)!

Thanks a lot for playing! Yeah it was fun to see some live reactions to the game :D

Cool game, really liked the mood and the old school feel to it! Thought it took me some time to find the last piece, as I had kinda forgot you could look up and down haha

I had the same problem as PlasticPolychaete, but on the windows version. I sent the error log to nbunney on discord. Hope it helps!

Glad you still got some enjoyment out of it! The controls scheme was something I wanted to refine at some point, but ended up leaving on the shelf for too long haha
