Interesting game. I included it in my Godot Wild Jam #17 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I was so impressed with just the menu alone :D including all the settings and in particular the option to rebind the controls. If that's not from the asset store you should add it there! It would be great if this can be added easily to future jam games.

I just had one issue with the controls. Both with controller and keyboard, the game typically did not respond to trying to change direction.

Every time I jumped, it went back to the main menu for some reason :/ Seems like a cool concept though! I also appreciate that you took time to add input binding options for keyboard and game pad

It's a joystick config problem, without realizing it I put the same button to jump and exit.
To solve the problem you have to change that setting

Very nice! I had a lot of fun with this! I liked the fact that I could die and use money to upgrade my cyborg. Extremely cool idea. Reminds me of those cannon games on mobile but I've never seen it with a platformer. Extremely creative use of this for the customization system. There is a game breaking bug when you play with joystick as anytime I jump I get sent back to the menu.

You are right about the joystick problem, without realizing it I put the same button to jump and exit.
To solve the problem you have to change that setting

My bad. ;P

First Impression

Great Inventory System! Very fluent gameplay.

Theme ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In fact, you have implemented the theme in order to use your Charakter Customisation System. This is not realy a overexamination of the theme and in my opinion a very clever mix!

Fun ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Shoot-shoot-shoot and Loot-loot-loot is somehow always motiving.

Controls ⭐⭐⭐

Thought the option menu is very cool, the game could be way more optimized without. I cannot define the B as a Button for Jump and Back because the input does not switch between game and menu.

Graphics & Audio ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely. The menu sound annoyed me after a couple of minutes thinking about the next costume I want to choose, but the art is fine. Espacially I like the effect of the powerbar that grows when the player is hit.

Originality ⭐⭐⭐

The basic idea is well known, but the cute costumes are greatly apprechiated by myself. Cool game.
