Thank you for this entry into the jam! I thought it would be nice for the power bar to bounce back and forth so if you hold it, you aren't stuck with a big throw, but very much enjoyed playing! Cheers!
Despite not being exactly within the theme I think that's a solid game concept! The visuals are very good, the colors and the style are amazing. To be honest, I did not have the patience for these mechanics and found them frustrating. Therefore I didn't play much, but I think some people would be into that, it reminds of the game "getting over it". If that's what you're going for, I think the mechanics work fine.
And I thought that only I submitted the unintentional horror game for a Jam. Loved it.
had a rough time dealing with the controls but the art was cool
Funny game! The throwing mechanic was good, though it would have been nice to have an indicator of the trajectory.
Interesting! I had a hard time with the controls; the weight always seemed to originate from lower than expected, and the arc was difficult to predict. I can see someone with more patience than me having a good time with this, though.
Who would've thought I'd spend Monday listening to grunting. This was a great game submission with a lot of potential. Different sized items or even different arms with different sized muscles would add interesting physics. Also gave me kind of a Jump King vibe, one wrong throw and you're back at the beginning.
Hopefully you get to expand on it in the future. Good job!
Seems polished, but i dont really see where the size matters theme came into play. Game game even without the theme though
I might have missed where the theme Size matters came in, which is a pity. Good game otherwise!
Ahh yea, initially the thought was that you would need to throw differently sized objects to progress, but couldn’t impement that :( Glad you enjoyed the game though 💪
