Very nice and cool game! Really nice artstyle as well, I really liked it, good job!
Great game! I enjoy this game, Impressive game in such a short time. Great job!
Feel free to check my game if you want to challange your brain muscle!
Loved the art! I am sure it would be great to play with more animations and juice
Ok i admit i didn't really get what i was doing, but there's a tobuscus reference in there and i loved it. miss the good old time. Anyway, the art is great, really nothing to say on that. The gameplay could be improved, especially adding some juice and feedback for the actions. But as you said in your page, you basically missed a full day of work, so I'm sure you would have added some juice if you had the time. Nice job and mad respect for putting out something playable in even less time than given.
Thank you so much for your constructive critisism and very kind words! The game definitely needs some juice and some better visual feedback, as well as some kind of tutorial. I honestly didn't think anyone would get that reference, but i was just singing it in my head looking at that sword, so i thought i might as well lol.
Nice game!
It was a bit confusing at first but once I understand how to play it was very fun!
Yeah, it needs a much better introduction i agree. Thanks for playing!
Great concept, the game took a min for me to realize what I was doing, the art also looks great
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked the art! And i agree that it definitely needs some sort of tutorial
I like the concept! I wish there was some form of wait time / feedback for when the damage was dealt from both ends, I feel like that'd build nice anticipation. Although I know that corners most likely had to be cut for the jam timeframe. Nicely done.
I agree that the game certainly needs some more visual feedback for what's going on. Thank you for your feedback!
I'm not like but something very interesting, well.
I like the game a lot :D I could only beat the first four monsters. If I'm not wrong, they were in order.
The game took me a second to understand but Its really cool. I like how you roll for stats.
It's very shocking how could you make such a game in 48 hours.
Thank you for your kind words!
I'd love to see this fleshed out into a full game, the concept seems really good!
Thank you! We know that this is an unfinsihed game, but we are happy that the concept still made sense!
We have fleshed out the game a bit more, if you are interested.
Good attempt at a dungeon crawler although it lacked some feedback for actions which for only a day of progress I can understand. Being able to roll full 6s in every stat means you should just reroll until you get perfect stats, also you might also want to rename your weapon swing type, seeing "Weakness/Strength: Strength" was a bit confusing :)
We wanted to create a mechanic where you would earn coins by beating bosses, and then rerolls would cost you, later maybe even a way to buy larger die as a permanent upgrade. Sadly we never got around to it. I never thought of the "Strength" thing being confusing, but i can totally see it now. Thanks for your feedback, that was very helpful!
I think this game was a bit unclear from every side. The base concept is good. but the way you presented it made it a bit hard to understand and play. The lack of visual and audio cues didn't make me understand if I was playing correctly or not! Was I winning? Was I losing?
Maybe next time you could guide the player more towards your goal! Game testing with your friends would have prevented this! Consider it next time!
Also, wonderful pixel art! :D
I totally agree with all you said! There were so many things we wanted to implement, but i guess our expectations went beyond our time limit, sadly resulting in something only halfway done. Thanks for playing and your very constructive critisism!
