This was just absolutely captivating. I really really could not get enough of it. I swear the moment the dice rotated i actually gasped with joy. Really wonderful. However just for the sake of not looking to biased, there is a problem with sometimes the dot getting stuck in a corner, not a big deal. Overall lovely

This is the most I've felt emotionally invested in a game this jam.

Lol, this was such a solid puzzle game. Simple but with increasingly complex mechanics that were fun to solve and well developed. You did a great job!

How could they do such a thing to Mark's pristine dice!

Neat little game lol good job

I got stuck when I accidentaly pushed the red dot to the corner of the dice instead of the portal. Is there a way to get it out of the corner? other than that It was a really unique game!

Sadly the only way to fix the red dot getting stuck in this build is to reset the level (the funny thing is seeing this comment made me realize a solution to fix that in a later iteration hopefully lol)

But thank you! And I hope you enjoyed it

I beat the game :D

Overall despite the lack of gamejuice or length, I think this was an amazing and unique game!

Firstly, the idea behind it is super unique and its concept is one of the best I've seen for a puzzle. I'm finally  not playing a puzzle game about moving a die across a board and landing on the right side :D

Fixing dice by moving through portals is very cool and actually gives me that "A-ha" moment that mark talks about in his videos, unlike the other dice puzzles which are more hit-or miss.

This game is also the first which I haven't muted or turned the music off, because its very relaxing! Good choice of music, what and where did you get it from? :D

As you read in the 2nd line of the review, the game lacks game juice. I'd recommend having a particle trail when the player moves, some squishing/clicking effect when the red dot goes into the target, some effects when you teleport and maybe some sfx.

The length of the game could also have been longer, and I would have loved to see how far you could have taken this if it was a 72 hour jam instead of a 48 hour one, like 20 sided dice, multiple holes or even multiple dice?

Overall amazing game, excellent job!

Thank you so much for the feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'll definitely work on adding juice to any later iterations

The music is by Kevin MacLeod and is from Incompetech.com I believe (one of the websites GMTK linked on the jam's page). The full credit is listed in the game's credits menu (assuming it didn't bug out when building haha)

Again thank you so much for playing and having fun 😊

no worries. I didn't notice the credits menu my bad

Such a simple yet effective idea, really nice work on this. I really like the visuals and calming puzzle solving aspect of this.
